If you know how to drive then it doesn't really matter..
No one ever taught me how to drive and yet I drive all kind of cars, hatchbacks, Sedans, MPV etc... But still never ever even scraped it.
If you're the kind of person who seems to have a hard time with the hands-to-feet coordination, I won't recommend you to drive a brand new car.

its okay, if u practice in an open area or atleast wide open roads with little traffic.
btw, im against people learning to drive on autos, one should learn manual first and then auto.
otherwise, i ve seen people who ve driven autos for long, they act funny when they have to drive manual sometime

    yes its ok,i did
nothing happened, depends on the person who is guiding and the student.....
just make sure you tell him/her the rules first before taking him/her out on the road so he/she doesnt have to learn both practical and rules at the same time.
it becomes easier if you less things to worry about..
tell him/her to drive in your colony or near your house to get use to the gear and clutch, then in traffic..happy learning
