Default suggest a good car in 800k-900k

guyz suggest me a good car in 800k-900k..
ryt now my dad is using Honda Civic Exi, but there r some issues wid it so he wants to change it.. but confused tht which car to go for..
v lyk honda but there is a serious prblm wid Honda's engine..
its crank shaft in not dat reliable.. coz v hav been through ths problem twice.. also my frnd had 99 n went through same prblm dat iz crankshaft..

now left wid other option lyk
1:corolla(no one lyks corolla in my family)
2ptra(nyc options but way to heavy on pocket)
3:city(samoosa on 4 wheels, used only fa 2 months so not gna buy again)
4:vitz(very sophisticated ride but not suited for extensive travelling)

so guys suggest me a good car in ths budget.. my dad uses his car extensively ( 75,000 km in year or may b more than tht n only on motorway or rarely on GT road).

v r planning ov buying civic again but afraid tht wht if ths thing happens again.. guys tell me tht the crank issue is a factory fault or itz just in few cars?
n also can v find 03 vti in ths range?

serious problem with Honda engines? lol. bro.. hondas are of the most reliable cars out there in pakistan. so my advice, instead of blaming the car, try learning to take care of it instead. cause in ur case, what i see is that any car u get, u wud ruin that too. so, go for a honda again, but just take care of its engine. period

may b itz bad luck in our case... i am a honda fanatic... but whn ths crank prblm happnd twice dat made me think ov whether to go for honda again or not.. or may b there is a possibilty dat both cars were abused by previous owners..

And btw wht do u mean by tht..
(try learning to take care of it instead. cause in ur case, what i see is that any car u get, u wud ruin that too. so, go for a honda again, but just take care of its engine.)

u may hav greater experience than me but not more than my dad's exoerience.. if driving too much ruins the car thn wht r cars made for.. as long as u change the engine oil properly, go for tunning on tym n take care of everything thn tht wont be ruining car unless u go for OFFROADING on FAMILY SEDAN... my dad dosnt floor his car..

i went through couple ov forums on pakwheels n there was a 09civic wid crank prblm..

dont take it to heart bro we have kept a honda and driven it far more than u can imagine....ran it over 2.5 lacs and it never gave a problem. and well, if u think engine oil and tuning is the only thing which a car needs regularly, man i wud repeat myself, u really dont need to take care of the car

I have 2001 orial prosmatec, never even heard of crank problem. Its the most reliable car in pakistan if taken care of. In my opinion, you should go for another civic. Insha Allah it will change your perception about honda's issues.

this could be the main reason man

Honda's rarely have engine problems as many Pakwheels members who own zero meter bought Honda's can verify

I own a 2001 Civic, 50k driven and MashAllah its engine has never given us a single problem and is still soundless. So in my opinion, go for a Civic which is in mint condition, maybe the Civics' owned by you were abused by their previous owners.

one of my frnd had 99 civic and the shaft of that car was also damaged so it appears that honda certianly do have a problem of crank...and if u want an economical car than u can get a 2010 cultus in 9.50 in almost new condition..
