Default How to protest against lack of quality??

    Aoa all,

I dont want to disrespect any of the worthy pakwheel members who are happy with their local manufacured cars, but honestly what Honda and Toyota are delivering to us is simply worthless for this price. Not to mention Suzuki here.

To me the difference between quality of Mehran and Oriel is just that Oriel is less poor. BUT STILL POOR!!!

I recently owned one so im talking experience here.

We should stand/complain against this lack of quality control. Seriously!!

Comments are welcome and please suggest what method should be adopted to register our complaints so as to make it count.

hit them where it hurts..............their wallets

If you (the people) stop buying they will be forced to bring new incentives for you to "re-start" buying their products.

but sadly people in Pakistan will happily consume anything from their automobile handlers

marketing of these products is a joke in Pakistan...they just sell themselves.........:/
every time some overpriced junk is introduced .......one can see about 4-5 different threads about people showing their hard earned money on things that weren't even considered a luxury 20 years ago (fact)

    thank you.

Irony is that the owners themself know this fact, still they keep appreciating or hiding flaws in their machines

The real issue is that each of the three big manufacturers in Pak, i.e. Pak Suzuki, Indus Motors and Honda Atlas have deteriorated the quality of their cars over the years. Suzuki especially, as they are selling the same car models (read Junks) since more than a decade with gradual drop in quality.

But unfortunately there doesnt seem to be anything that we can do to stop that. If you stop buying them, the supply of new cars here is so low that still whatever they wil produce will still quickly sell (with on money and months of wait) at whatever the price they charge. Population of Pakistan is too big to consume the 120,000 or so new cars produced across the country each year. So they will keep on successfully selling the same brands at lesser quality, but with a lot higher prices.

    @all

you complain about the quality of the cars, might i ask what is wrong with them?
(obviously this excludes certain suzuki manufactured vehicles)

the cars end up in a terrible condition due to the extremely poor/non-existent roads for miles at a stretch, plus the cheap quality parts we use in them, and the improper way most of us drive them (its extremely rare to find someone driving a car like its supposed to be driven)

its a myth among the Pakistanis that jdm cars are better, i care to disagree, look at a jdm vehicle after its been driven for a few years in pk then compare it to locally manufactured cars. almost no difference.

jdm cars arrive very crisp in pk because they have not been exposed to the factors mentioned above, plus some of them do get minor repairs done properly.

and yes everyone else has the right to disagree.
