Default Amount of Token (Biyana ) money

    Hello,

I am seeking advise for approximate amount of Token (Biyana ) money once we made a deal to purchase the vehicle. What should be its range like 10k to 20k.

Secondly, Should we get receipt of biayana money and which is the best form of receipt because some time a proper receipt is not available so what is the best way.
Should we also take the copy of CNIC or ant thing else as a proof

    thanks

yes. cnic k copy, plus written ppr p hii krlia kro & next day ja kr try to do full payment & buy the car....
regarding token money it ranges frm 1%-2.5% of total sum... like 10lakhs ki car p token 10k de dho.
agr fraud hu tu atleast loss kum hu. baqi if the offerer backs out afta token money being received he vl hv to pay 2x the amount of token.

depends from deal to deal and person to person.

I know a guy who gave 100 Rs token money for a car worth 6 lacs.

Token money is like a bond of trust that the thing belongs to you now!

In old days, My father told me, a guy gave a hair of his mustache as token to purchase land!!!

For any local car, 10k token money is more than enough. For receipt of token, you do not need to obtain sellers CNIC photocopy. A receipt written and signed by seller is more than enough. A lot of people don't even obtain receipt for token because its such a small amount and remaining payment would be made anyways next day
