Default Honda City AT, Toyota Corolla GLI AT or Suzuki Swift.

I have three options and i am confused which one is best.

    1. Honda City Automatic transmission - Rs. 1,500,000

    2. Toyota Corolla GLI Automatic transmission - Rs. 1,679,000

    3. Suzuki Swift 1.3 DLX - Rs. 1,106,000

Now, I am confused a lot. I don't like the rear lights of both Corolla and City but i think i would have to cope with that.

Please suggest me which one is best. Thanks
I personally like Suzuki swift, however, my family wants to go for a bigger car.

p.s. All prices are taken from the car's respective company website. Freight charges etc must be applicable.

I kept Civic 8th gen for four years and sold 3 months back. I loved that car. Sold because we wanted a diesel car thats why we opted for Corolla.
Drive corolla and city on long route. you ill judge it yourself.
You agree or not but truth is it has more soft seats .You must have older model 2.0dsaloon which has crappy seats.Ask mani1 if you dont belive my wording

Also the seats are hard to give a sporty feeling where as corolla is smooth, soft, comfortable .Steering is also soft where as civic's steering is hard.

@poster if you need a manual car go for City Manual and if you want AT car then GLI At for sure as its more powerful and fuel efficient also than City AT
    City is 5 speed AT.
The gear ratios u have mentioned. It should eat less fuel..
On manual. I rev my car like this
    1st gear - 30
    2nd gear - 50
    3rd gear - 70
    4th gear - 90..
I still get 15-16km/litre. with AC on. Ur friend is getting 11km/l. Weird.

I didn't get a chance to drive both gli automatic and city a/t...
But I know that theoretically 5 speed auto tranny is way better than an obsolete 4 speed stuff... In fact the reason I may not opt altis a/t at the time I may purchase one inshalah in near future, is because of its 4 speed auto trans that is in deep contrast to its 6 speed Manual...
The more 6 speed manual is advanced, the more 4 speed auto is obsolete ..

City AT also doesnt have good mileage as manual ones. One of my friend has one and it doesnt gives more than 11km/l in City and also the transmission is crap.

    3rd at 40
    4th at 60
    The gears are quite short.
yo mubeen remember the link u posted about Dual VVTi having better Fuel Average than City ?

Yeh that thread showed that A/T 1.6 Corolla was doing 12.5km/L on Highway

    and According to U
One of my friend has one and it doesnt gives more than 11km/l in City and also the transmission is crap.
as ur friend has told u A/T City gives 11km/L in city
while as per ur claim 1.6 A/T Gli gives 12.5km/L on HIGHWAY

    see the point ?

Next u say the Transmission is Crap because Gears r short?
    OMG -.-

I dont know what happens in the world u live in but for the rest of us Shorter Gears means better Fuel Average

    different opinions, different suggestions...

I will go check the cars today or tomorrow, inshaAllah.

I guess Sunday would be off?

    Edit: A long debate.. lol
But i would say everyone has his own opinion. One should not provoke or go personal towards each other.
