Default Dent at my city. Urgent Help required?

Assalam-allikum members, Yesterday my car got first dent on fender. It's one month old only and this was happened when car was parked and someone banged into it. It seems to be a minor job which means that no paint is chipped off only dent is there. I would like to know the cost of repairing from HONDA authorized dealership? Secondly would it be done without paint job as i told no paint is chipped off?

2nd option: My car is insured. What would you recommend should i go for insurance company. I know it's stupid question but i am asking as i don't know the procedure, If it's just a simple step then i will go for this option. Else i am ready to bear few thousands on it.

Please highlight the cost of repairing this part from HONDA in case if i bear it from my own pocket. Need you quick advise on that?

Thanks a lot for your concern.Dent at my city Urgent Help required? -301758

If it's covered by insurance then lodge a claim and get it repaired on the expense of insurance company.

From picture I think its a minor bruise, dry denting would do it.

Keep in mind the depreciation factor if you want to replace the fender. 10% depreciation for each passing year w.e.f from date of purchase to date of claim.

dont know about honda dealership but a good dentor will do it for around 1000-1500, no need of paint job.
and if some dentor try to convince you that it needs paint so dont fall for it, dont even think about it. ask him to use plastic hathora and correct it.

Thanks for the reply. It's only 20 days old car so in this case will depreciation factor effects? I think that there is no need to replace the fender it would be done by dry denting.

What is the procedure of insurance claim? Would it be a lengthy process? I am really struck these days and don't have much time.

Bro i have many good denters around, But i am not giving preference coz it's a new car. Slight mishandling may cause trouble in future. I will surely not go for paint job in any case, As it's practically done by dry dent. Also the front passenger door is not opening, When i try to open the door it touches the fender so in this case is it's repairable? Will it back to it's original position?

Go to the particular branch of insurance co/bank from where you got your car insured, get a claim form and fill it. They will appoint a surveyor to inspect ur car. Set time and place(workshop where you want to get it repaired) with the surveyor he will take snaps, settle the amount with the repairer and thats it.

When your car is ready infrom the surveyor to take re inspection and you are good to go.

You have to pay nothing if that involves only labour charges and no replacement of parts.

hmm right, do it from honda then.
Yes thats repairable. Once back side of my car was hit from corner and the door was not opening, so the dentor put some big chains underneath and pushed the backside of the car and the problem solved, so i guess something similar should be done to your car also.
