    Default Which Car to buy!!

    Dear members,

I need your help in deciding what to buy.. Currently, I have a Civic 2005 EXi Pros done 90K only and want to change my car. I have a budget of 14lacs (max) and i just can not make up my mind to buy which car.

A new car is a new car and the only option which seems viable to me is the new Honda cit1y MT. My father owns a GLi 2009 and i really do not like the car. The mileage is very bad.

Swift and Vitz are smaller ones and i am not comfortable with buying a small car.

The reason I want to sell my civic is that i am bored with it and want to have a change.

My elder brother bought the new city and one problem i felt was the drift felt while cutting between the traffic from the rear (on original tyres). is it only me or is there a road grip problem with the car???

    Please suggest!!

    Regards,

    Abdul Rafey

the city has a lot of problems...
    dont buy city..
    corolla is better than city..

in used cars, u have a lot of variety like premio, lancer, etc..

    i suggest u buy a used import..
im not fully sure but maybe toyota harrier can also be bought for a little over ur budget..i might be wrong..

    Go for New City . . . 10/10
I was also confused in deciding which car to buy before i sold my Honda Vti - 2002.
I ended up buying Honda City in October 2010. And to date, i am enjoying my ride in White Color.
I will never go for the used imported car as you can never be sure how they were used. Most of the imports are damaged - rejected cars which are refurbished to be exported to other countries like Pakistan.
Buy a brand new zero meter for 100% peace of mind and trouble free for years.
    Regards

    Exclamation

    further points to be added:

imported cars are expensive to maintain and with low re-sale... i am a job based person and spends from my own pocket rather spending my inherited(to be) dad's money....

lancers r old and hard to maintain...

list option in used categories.... new cars do not need maintenance for another 3 years atleast...

City is the best option in 1300 category. Very Innovative aerodynamics design add to the excellent fuel efficiency of the car.

much bragged about "suspension" thing is very relative, really ! I am City a owner myself i find it pleasantly acceptable !

Interior is a bit turn-off but rest car is good to go !

I think you should go for City instead of a used car. It is fuel efficient as compared to other 1.3 L cars in Pakistan. It also comes with 3 year warranty. If you have big family then go for Xli.

there is absolutely no problem with the new city besides its a bit stiff but that just how its made its not a fault ... I would highly recommend you to go for a 2003 model Toyota Premio 1.5 version trust me brother you wont regret your decision and as far the fuel consumption is concerned it will do better then your civic that's a promise

    @poster civic 7th gen(the one u own)is far betr than city 2011
    1)dirve wise
    2)comfort wise
    3)handling wise
    4)road grip
    5)interior
    6)exterior
    7)space
civic cant be cmpared with city at any cost,if u r bored with the drive of ur civic then buyng a city will disapoint u atlast so mine opinion is tht stick to ur civic (get it repared as things u pointed up are not a big job) nd if if if if if if if u still wna buy city then its a good option in 1300cc ctgry.

You wont like driving a City after shifting from a Honda Civic. My advice would be to get another Honda Civic. You can get a 2005 Honda Civic VTi Oriel in excellent condition with a budget of around 12lacs.
