Default Altis v/c GLI Eco Tech

    Hello Guys,
I need your opinion between Altis fully loaded and Gli Eco Tech. I am expecting Altis to be delivered on 1st week of November, however I am shifting my mind to Eco Tech, purely on the fact to reduce fuel expenses. May I know your suggestions here,

CNG availability is now a big issue, you only get it smoothly for three days in case of Islamabad i.e Sun-Mon-Tue on Wednesday there are looooooong queues even throughout the night and that is the case of Saturday evening when CNG stations open after 6.00 pm. And there are reports that in winters the government will announce a 4-day CNG holiday to practically you will get CNG for two days smoothly. In short it is become a big problem to run your car on CNG.

Altis witih its dual vvti engine is the most economical car in its class at present and it has got everything like alloys, sunroof, etc. I would recommend to keep Altis.

Gli auto also has the same dual vvti 1.6 engine and same super ect transmission, i do not know why they are calling it Gli. It should have been Altis econo model.

bhai aap Altis le lo us mein bhi cng fit chalti hai aur consumption mein 10-20% ka farq hai maximum.

agar aap ki daily driving 40 km ya is se zyada hai tu aap ecotech le lein.

The 1.3 Gli does around 100km/h on 3000rpms on 5th gear.

While the 1.6L does around 120km/h @ 3000rpms so fuel saving can be seen already.

Belive me 1.3 Corolla is not a pleasure to drive car.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

I can see guys here recommending Altis, I made the calculations, and appx Altis will cost me 5,000 - 7,000 / month extra, so its a decision between luxury & cost ?

Are we kidding me???????? Don't know if you've made up your mind, November is still a couple of weeks ahead, so RETHINK a bit bro on your calculations.

Kindly note - and read my lips - Altis will bring your fuel expenses down, not up!!

If not by 5-7K's monthly as you have calculated in the reverse direction, at least by 2-3k's LESS per month in the right direction of your calculus!

As for CNG, well, I'm of the strong opinion, humbly, that Gop better pay back all investors in this biz - inclusive of all black kick-backs - and send these shareef people back home on pension or wish them best of luck with some other ventures, I can't really see how the heck they're gonna survive this biz, not all of them have the well located gold mines!!!

If any doubts on Altis fuel efficiency vs Gli, check my personally conducted review below and beat it with the relatively under-powered 88 Hp'ed GLI.

(My "Chevy" already failed, so best of luck here):

Anyhow, the Altis fuel efficiency, for the pleasure of your drive:
