central locking and power windows hardly cost rs.4000. why is toyota not providing it as standard equipment is beyond me. they are always increasing prices, why dont they increase rs.4000 more and give central locking and power windows?!! a 10 lakh swift has it so why not a 15 lakh xli??

true that... the xli is the most insanely overpriced machine... without the basic features i wonder how they still manage to capture the major share in Pakistan...
talking about swift, it has ABS, Fog lightss, Alloy Rims and much more that are still lacking in our "BELOVED" XLI.. thats sad, alarming and surprising BUT True...

brothers would you believe that I was once at lahore sunday car bazar at samnabad. and there a guy was asking a dealer what is the difference between xli and gli. the dealer said, and i quote 'xli has better engine and runs good on CNG'. I never knew that gli and xli have different engines
yeh toh jahalat ka level hai. people here actually prefer xli over gli, not beacuse of price but apparently because of 'engine differences'
once i read on Pakwheels that a dealer was saying xli and gli have different engines because xli has manual windows and gli has auto windows

I booked Honda Civic couple of days back. I have not received confirmation letter from Honda yet. If there is some price increase, will I have to pay the penalty ?!

Good luck with the delivery and price of car mate.
I've heard that Honda guys charge customer the price effective at the the of booking.. Any increase in price later on isn't charged when the raise isn't from additional tax being imposed by govt. This case isn't applicable here so I believe you won't have to pay additional charges.. Good luck

No matter how much the prices increase, buyers are going to buy & complainants are just going to complaint.
