LTV stands for light transport vehicles and it includes the rights for driving any vehicle of 4x4 either non-commercial or commercial basis, whereas HTV stands for heavy transport vehicle and it includes the cadre above 4x4 and ranging from 6 wheelers to 22/26 wheelers of transport craft (including Master Fortland and Loading Mazdas, 36 wheelers comes with special permit. Other transport like heavy cranes & carriages, mobile units of large lifters used at ports needs a special pass.
If you have a MotorByke license, means you are only authorized to drive specifically a Motor Byke.
If you have a Motor Car license, means you are only authorized to drive specifically a Motor Car (Non Commercial).
If you have a LTV license, meanse you are authorized to drive a range from Motor Byke to any 4x4 vehicles (Both commercial and non).
If you have a HTV license, means you are authorized to drive a range from all above to 22/26 wheelers long trucks and trailers (Both commercial and non).
If you are willing to drive both Motor Byke and Motor Car you have to specifically mention both on license request form.
If you are willing to drive all type of 4x4 vehicles, just mention LTV (it includes byke, car and all vehicles who have a status of 4x4).
If you are willing to drive all type of heavy vehicles (according to above frame) just mention HTV and it includes all status.
Fees, tickets and time will be guided to you by concern counter rep at driving office of concern city accordingly to the request nature of license.
Learner licenses made and issued on same day whereas above condition applies on original issuance of licenses.
