    Default Best Fuel Consumption.

    Hey guys.
i needed an opinion from all of you. Which is the best car in giving maximum mileage available in the pakistani market right now. it should be *automatic*.
i have searched the forum but i could not make a clear mind.
the list which i have of 660cc cars consists of
    > suzuki cervo
    > diahatsu mira
    > diahatsu sonica
    > suzuki alto
    > mitsubishi i

if you guys have any other car in mind please do mention it here.

Sonica is overall great car but its turbo. If you are looking for more mileage then Turbo car is No for you.

I guess all auto 660cc give same mileage but if you are looking for around 18-25km/l then consider buying a manual.

I ve heard about mira 2010 2 door basic edition with manual transmission that it did more than 30 km per litre on motorway with speeds below 90 kmph. i didnt believe the chap.

My Mitsubishi EK gave me 25.somthng km per litre once and 24.29 km per litre. and usually it does somewhere in between 18 to 20.5 km per litre. its manual transmission 2006 model.

Passo averages 10-15 km/l on city roads, 15-18 km/l on open roads. Its 1KR-fe engine was ranked best in class for sub 1.0 L engines for 2007,08,09, & 2010. Dunno abt Mira etc, just came here to get more info myself.

I have daihatsu mira 2006 petrol, gives around 16 km per liter. Automatic transmission.
Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

I dunno the fuel consumption of the cars you listed down, but I would recommend Honda City. I have Vario and it consistently gives me between 12-13 on Karachi roads (Usually my running is at peak office time!).

    Default More confused now!!!!

I wanted to ask the same question, I Have asked people in person and asked the same before going for a final call however still am confused with the final decision. People give variable replies to same queries adding more confusion in my mind. Some claim the mileage to be around 19-20 km/l while other claim it to be around 13/14 km/l. Seriously can't make up my mind here.

To be honest my Swift DX gives me around 510-540 km in 34 liters (i refill it after reserve petrol light is switched on), which is approx 15/16 km/l, with such a great engine power i believe then this is the best car in the market?

My driving style is mostly normal even though sometimes I give rapid acceleration. I get 16-17 Km with AC sometimes ON(not all the time).
