If its your second car, Gli, A/T does the job being A/T and 1.6 but,

Other wise Altis A/T is a wise option for 120k extra, because of the goodies being offered,

    Navigation Standard (from March expected)
    Air bag (driver side)
    Alloys
    Chromes on window rubbers
    Keyless entry
    Tinted Windsheild
    Fog lamps
    Rain sensors
    Retractable mirrors
    Wooden Kit
    Optiron Meter
    4 Spoke Steering
    2 interior lights
    6 Speakers
    Side skirts,
    Door mouldings
    matching door handles/mudflaps
    Optional S/R variant
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Altis 1.6 is better than 1.6 GLi. If u go for manual tranmission Altis then fuel economy is way better bcoz of 6 forward gears in it.

Gli Auto = Altis engine + auto transmission (rest of the stuff is just like 1.3 Gli)
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

am seriously thinking of buying ALTIS M/T and would be driving it in karachi city areas (no highways)... could u let me know the fuel consumption, as this is the only factor thats stopping me from booking the ALTIS

I am currently driving a XLI 2004 on CNG and it gives me about 15km/kg

BUT 6th forward gear would only be employed if u run on highways. A person like me from karachi dont go to highways.. can u suggest fuel average for me(i dont press the paddle too much)
