Default Use of Additives in a New Car

I guess all have heard of Liqui Moly. No Doubt They make wonderful additives. My question is are they effective on a new car ? I mean, My car is less then 1k driven and somebody recommended by to use additives.

I havn't used them before so My question is Liqui Moly recommended for a new vehicle. If yes , then which one. Please specify

yea for ever oil change there is a 2-3k additive but if it really produces noticeable difference then it is worth try. I guess people who are already using similar stuff can comment better !

Yes, these additives work. I am a satisfied user of Liqui Moly additives, particularly their Injection Cleaner. But these additives are useless for new cars and for sure not recommended. The only additive that might work for new cars is octane booster. But Liqui Moly doesn't make it.
As levin said, keep it simple and enjoy your new ride. Just change the oil on time and use a clean fuel. What is the car in question here?

Stick to basics then. Just change the oil on time. You can either opt for Honda's 5W-30 Synthetic oil or Caltex Havoline 5W-30 Fully Synthetic (Golden Packing). I'd go with the later.

DO NOT add anything during the initial break-in period or even upto first 10000Km (that is what liqui moly experts recommend, because friction & some wear is required for engine parts to settle down & become smother later...... That is what break-in period is all for. Using additives does not allow proper breaking).... Just drive the car carefully at low RPMs during the first 5000Km & you will enjoy the car for the next 100K+ Km
After that initial running period, it is your money, your choice... These do work BTW but I personally prefer keeping life simple.

I think stay away from such things in early life of the new engine. Religiously follow the manual that's written under the supervision of engineers and technicians of the engine designers and makers and I guess there will be no such suggestion in the manual!
