Default Should I buy Swift or Civic exi?

I've tried going through past threads, but didn't find any helpful information.

My question is, I have 1m budget, and I have 2 options.

    1. Civic exi
    2. Swift.

Also considering that I have family of three.

I like Civic for its shape and class, but 0 meters itself is also appealing.

    Im concerned about few things

    1. Civic Vs swift what is the difference in daily fuel consumption.
    2. Some one told me that as compared to Civic, maintenance of swift is costly. (swift spare parts are costly as compared to Civic?)

I appreciate any feedback in this regard.

can a swift do this???this is the ans of your question ''what is the difrnce?'' this is the class of engineering which push civic to this limit, and still it supports it,dont tell me you have seen a swift doing this.

Civic B18C TURBO - YouTube for your eyes beefy enjoy.
The answer to your question is NO!
a swift which is 1300cc designed for routine commuting cannot do this.
now my question is can the civic in comparison(7th gen 2005 exi) do this?
if the thing shown in the posted link/video is not possible for both the cars in question, then what is the point of posting it?

in city driving under normal conditions it gives about 100-105km per cylinder.
what is the best mileage you ever achieved in city driving in a full cylinder?

I was also confused this way weeks ago. But ended up buying a 2004 Prosmatic exi civic and so far very happy with decision. In low budget its an awesome car. Swift has crossed beyond 1260 DLX model, which is way way out of reach now. But let me tell you, you ll have to spend some money on Civic 2004 model in order to make it smooth and up to mark. Rest, its an awesome car.

well just yesterday i got the best mileage.....136 km in 750 rs (40% ac on )....pehla gear kam lagta hai as my route is almost signal free. and i drive slow, as in 70 to 80 km/hr...as i have to dodge all the bumps and pathetic cracks on the road due to 17''

    ^^chaudhary bhai simple calculation.
get the cylinder filled, totally,i mean max.
    note down the price.
use the entire cylinder till it ends and you shift at petrol, calculate the per km cost accordingly.simple.

You have 17" rims on u car, right? They look secksy, right? Drive feels hard, u love the grip, right? Low profile looks , right?

Well, u gotta pay for that dude...

Revert ur tyres to stock and u'll see. Or at least 195/65/R15.

First of all sir, may I correct u that its 55 POUNDS not kg. the max CNG a cylinder can get is 9.2kg, that too on 230bar+ pressure.

Secondly, I came back from islamabad yesterday. Used my exi. Manual. 155k kms driven. On 195/65/R15 tyres.

I live in mianwali. Not considering the drive on motorway. Just from Balkassar Interchange to mianwali city. The time was 1 am in the night.

Got gas filled at balkassar. Then just floored the car above 150kmh all the way, the max i could do was 150kmh because one has to brake very often due to jumps, hard turns and small populated areas.

The distance covered was not less than 130kms in any damn way.

reached mianwali. Drove the car 20 kms within city. Then got cng filled at 270bar pressure.

Wanna know how much gas it got?

Only 5.65kgs!!! Around 495Rs only! for 130kms! Flooring the car all the way! Just periodic basic maintenance like engine oil change, throttle body cleaned; yes CNG adjusment done by a VERY expert person.

What do u say now? U still don't agree?

If the pressure be normal, the gas refilled would be hardly 400Rs.

Before u say I am wrong or am exaggerating, do remember that u and me, we both live in Pakistan.
And I can offer you to drive my car for a day and do whatever u can on this earth to make it give poor mileage!!!

nopes. all u've been saying is that:

-swift and civic CAN be compared.
    - swift is better all the way cz its NEW
    -Civic gives crap mileage.

Ur posts stay in the thread as evidence.
