I had the clutch plates of my car changed recently. Because I had prolonged the replacing of the clutch, the flywheel needed machining (as was told to me by my mechanic). He sent it to lathe machinist (kharadia) and it came back smooth and leveled. Maybe that's your problem. Take it to another mechanic and see what he suggests. If the clutch plates are new, they probably would work fine regardless of the brand.

either the flywheel was worn down or scratched (not likely) or you did not "wear in" the clutch properly before general use.

You have to bed in the clutch too like you do with brakes, otherwise the plate glazes and hardens causing chatter and vibration on release. It is done by slowly releasing the clutch in first gear stopping and doing it again for about 15 mins, after that it is recommended to lightly drive the car with very low accelerator load for about a week, after that you can drive normally.

I had a young "brat" customer who had toasted his RX8 clutch plate twice in a month, when he came to me, I replaced the plate with a ceramic composite plate and wore in the clutch myself for 2 weeks before handing over the car, the car never had any issues after that.
