How is it in all means? Worth buying? Comparing with City, Corolla X and Liana All in 1.3 CNG version.

i own a lancer GLX 1.6 year 2006. It is a brilliant car, It doesn't give any reliability problems but when it does, Its a hell expensive to maintain... e.g. pair of break pads cost 5000Rs, had a little accident and broke the front light, original light cost 27000Rs, went to SULTAN ka KHOO and bout a kabli light for 7000 and had it buffed and cleaned...

So yeah an expensive car to maintain.

that rs.5000 pair of brakes wouldnt be genuine, Suzuki Baleno and Altos genuine brake pads cost rs.4000+ (easily last more then 80k kms if driven tameez se)
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Lancer it self is a wonderfull car, but the spare are hell expensive, We have one in family a suspension overhauling costed around 80k, A Corolla or Civic should be a wiser decision

^ yup, thats what the guy told me, altho its an aprox figure... the plastic partition in the bumper was hit on bump and fell, it costed 11k at sheir shah, the denter made it out of steel it worked. But the person who owns it is kinda shoqeen so hes keeping it.. he got it b.new. But when compared to Corolla/civic its maintainence is extreemly heavy.

When i was 8-9 years old, I remember we had a old lancer and it was mashoor, isko banwane se acha ek aur leilo sasti miljaegi rather then spending on it. i.e Its cheaper to buy a complete Lancer rather then buying it peice by peice.
