daihatsu charade G100 are excellent cars but are losing their stand because most of their parts are not available in Pakistan because most cars parts availability in Pakistan is dictated by "used parts scrap importers" not new parts importers.
The charade has become so old now that nearly all in the junkyards outside of Pakistan have been crushed, so its better to buy the old suzuki SA310 (Swift/Khyber) cars. Their parts are easily available and they are very simply built.
Your question of the first generation SA310 is correct, those cars had leaf springs (kamani) rear suspension, a very odd looking dashboard, some different body parts (trunk, front, fenders) and a very stupid A/C. The later 88-89 cars looked like Khybers but with deep sunken sealed beam headlamps which looked nice, the khyber was the same car with flush headlamps.
