    Talking Suzuki Mehran 2012 EFI (EURO II)

    Dear Friends,

    Today i visited Pak Suzuki Showroom in DHA, Karachi & i came across the new mehran 2012 EFI. The engine is 800cc the same old one but with new changes, they made some typical changes & i wanted to share with you guys, so enjoy the new Mehran EFI...

    yesterday I had to go to my village. it was a long drive on a highway. initial reading on meter was 45 km. now its 660 Km n i m back home now
    round trip was 615 Km long. when I reached home i got the tank fulled again. total fuel cost was 1000+1800+780=3580 Rs.
    34.3 liters of fuel was utilized.
    Rs per Km= 5.82
    Km per liter = 17.9 km
    car easily touches 100km/hr. I accelerated till 120km/hr but didnt exceed that. car was stable no change of sound. my average speed on highway was 90kph.
    i think its not bad at all. hope mileage will improve in'sha'ALLAH after tuning

    Default mehran millage

    u got 17 km/ltr average. while i got 20 km/ltr with mehran 2011 carborator engine on long drive. i drive 410 km in 2120.7 ltr & 2100 rupee. while rs/km was 5.1. it means old model give beeter milage than efi engine. my everage speed was 80 km/hrs. note. if ur speed is more than 100km/hr than your fuel cons. will be high due to more fuel consumption. less brake will also increase your milage also.

    Dear, I m planing to install cng kit in mehran euro2, plz advise I go for which one, one is with advancer and other is with out advancer, an other is single coil n second is duble coil, these all are landy renzo made, and plz suggest me cng cylinder also. Thanx

    Mr.zeeshanali7! I dont know why you are so confused about cng installations ? its same engine without carburetor & due to removing carburetor, company need something to run the engine on fuel or alternative fuel & accelerate it, so company introduce alternative system which known as EFI (Electronic Fuel Injector). Its works on same way but there is little difference in it, which is ! its controlled by an electronically device or electrical mind & this system know as ECU ( electronic Control Unit).
    Now come to other point which cng kit you required ?

    While simple you need an EFI CNG kit ,but other question is which gen EFI kit you require ?
    so simple which gen engine you car have it :-D
    while engine is 1Gen in its type & EFI is 2Gen system in it, my advice is you need only simple 1 Gen EFI kit , which work perfectly in it so if you chose Landi ranzo, lovato ,hoffman, or any of australian & BRC , kits or any other italy kits any manufacturers of kit its your choice.....
    But CNG kits works on same way so every kit works :-D
    ooh one thing is more if you dont want to cut your wiring then put only emulator & advance is not required but if you put it then it will be extra benefit for your car.... so if you have budget then go for it(Emulator + Advancer).......

    Thanks dear for detailed information but weight of cylinder is main issue, b/c one car I see whose body was crecked from cylinder's stand. Its mehran euro2 2014 model and totaly 4000 driven.

    Mr.zeeshanali7! while if its body cracked then its mean some one fix improperly. so make sure fixing should be proper while if you are concerned about cylinder weight .you don't have to worried about weight coz company fix cylinder weigh 45 water capacity liter & in market you'll get 50 water capacity weight size cylinder ,so if like to put 50 or 40 or 45 WC kg its works & prices are same ! now come to which cylinder brand? my answer is now fresh new cylinder is available in market is EKC made in India & Some Chinese brand are also available All are approved from OGRA & CNG tested cylinders, So what ever you get it ,you just install it.....
    I hope you ll get the point !

    while i am in this field by proficiency & i can guide you much easily than others.
    one more thing
    NZS 5454:1989 this number identifies that this cylinder made for purpose of CNG not for any other gases,So keep in mind this is most important & secondly important date of birth of cylinder which look like on cylinder (07/00 or 01/99 or 06/09) first digides stand for month & second one stand for year of manufacture. Now i hope you got a point & My advice for everyone who read this please do not neglect this two things .if someone planning to buy old CNG cylinder please follow 2 things which i mention it already if 5 years gone then do test your cylinders by approved testing center & collect your cylinder fitness certificate....otherwise do not take risk of your lives for just some rupees.......     Sir I have also a list of cng approved cylinders downloaded from ogra's official website on 27.2.14, in this EKC is not listed, but other side your points are considerable, as I am resident of interior sindh, so I meet two cng instalation persons and ask for emulator and advancer, one says I do that, but second says in mehran there is no any setting for these things. So now I m planing for karachi to instal cng cylinder n kit.

    Mr.zeeshanali7 ! While rates are okay but if you go for Landi Renzo kit then go for medium kit which is know as TN10 it also have double coil but its smaller then big kit & excellent in performance & this kit is little different from company to kit which supposed to installed by pak suzuki.
    Anyhow there is also Italian kit available in market which is BRC brand its an excelent kit & its also have to option which is big one & smaller one & I ll suggest you smaller on coz of you car cc......
    Now as i told you previously there is also other kits also available in market which is tomasito argentina made ,Pakistani made kits are hoffmann, speed.......
    while you can take other options as well as but stay on easy option which is landi renzo medium or BRC small .....you ll get excellent average & enjoy you ride....

    Man I'm jus back from a very long drive on this car n despite all pains my pocket is still heavy n tank is not empty
    Left from pindi with full fuel tank filled from PSO pump before motorway turn, meter was showing 23 liters (I still have no idea wat is the fuel capacity of this car)
    (Rawalpindi to Okara city)
    Drove at max 90km/hr with medium accelerator with 3 passengers of average weight 65kg
    I clocked plus of 500km which is still unbelievable
    I'm sure I could have got better milage with less load n bit more conservative drive
    So how much this milage comes out to be? 18? Or higher

    according to my calculations Mehran euro2 on Petrol= 6 to 7 rupees/km (115/L) while on cng it is 3 to 4 rupees/km, in city and long mixed driving....... and on cng there is no difference in euro2 and carby
    100% less i guess.......
