    If buying then
    - Less resale.
    - More fuel consumption.
    - More driving pleasure.

    If selling then
    - Less buyers available.
    - Much lower price then your original buying price

    Choice is yours

My Friend owns an RS 1.5L
Trust me its a treat to drive , those who say its NOT ECONOMICAL are WRONG - RS version is far more fuel efficient as compared to the auto variants - lesser issues with gear (depends upon the way u drive it )
Its a beast as 1.5L in a Compact car considering the weight ratio
I'd suggest u to go for it but it should be below 1300k what so ever

FYI - bigger engines are not always LESS FUEL EFFICIENT , jux remeber that BIGGER THE ENGINE , LESSER THE POWER its requires to pull the car (FWD)
Again it depends upon the way u treat ur car

Does the engine have knocking issues my previous vitz was a 1ltr had some slight knocking problem can't afford to put hobc in a 1.5

1ltr engine of this shape has knocking issues because of its weight and less power.the same issue is on passo but less then vitz as passo has different gear ratios and gear box + lighter body.Recently i have driven 1.3 vitz in quetta, naturally i have felt knocking issue is more in quetta because of dryness and height, but didnt feel car underpower or kocking issues.

with power u always have a better driving experience
fuel consumption should not be bad .. i'm running a 1600 cc lancer with excellent fuel efficiency
resale is never a problem as long as u bought the car at the right price
vitz has good road grip and driving experience my only complain to 1.0 version was that it was under-powered and its engine sound guess you wont experience these issues ..
i rate it higher to a lot many local and imported cars .. the price is out of reach or i'd love to keep a vitz rs

and BTW do drive the car before buying and clear all ur issues before handing over a penny

I Guess the 1.5 ltr vvti engine will not have much knocking problem otherwise ppl would have been complaining about it as per my knowledge its the same engine in the premio and axio i sold my 2006 vitz kept it for 2 yrs , it had no issues and maintained it regularly but lately i have seen ppl struggling with vitz.I guess if you get a bad piece your a gone case so i will try to find a good piece
