Default Going to buy Suzuki Swift DLX

    Hello members
I recently sold my Honda City 2007 Auto. Since i dont have a long route to travel during the day and i was thinking to get a brand new car the only option that came in my mind was Suzuki Swift DLX.

What are the pros and cons of this car? I have no issue with switching from auto to manual.

    Thanks
    Hassan

built quality of local cars is pathetic, a friend of mine has a 2010 DLX, his car is 12,000 driven and the door trim is wearing off, ac ducts are broken (both sides)

Go for a 5 yr used JDM car, better quality, more features, cheaper prices & safety is also considered when building them.

I am a used car importer so if there's anything you want me to source for you then you can contact me on 0321-928-3186

A new is "new"; even if its PKDM and a used is "used"; even if its JDM

Swift DLX is a nice "package"; go for it....having said that if you "can easily add more into your budget"; go for City iVTEC M/T instead. City iVTEC will drink less fuel and upto 20k KMs you will just have to spend on fuel and oil changes and its fun to keep car!

I bought SWIFT DX 4 months back after selling JDM passo if had money at tht time i would definitely go for DLX because of ABS
any ways I am completely satisfied with it till now and done 4000 km with no issues
Here's my feedback/review why you should go for brand new DLX

50,000 km or 3 years warranty
    spare parts availability
Powerful 1.3 DOCH engine with excellent pickup
    Fog lights , ABS
    Reasonable sound system
Alloy wheels with bridge stone tires
    Immobilizer
    Electronic power steering
Sporty suspension no issues on sharp turns
Quality build as compared to other local cars

Only quality related minor issues i encountered are related to interior e.g cheap door panels and mirrors although dashboard is solid
My cousin 2010 DLX 60,000 KM driven is still running fine with no major issues or problems
Within price range it could be best option for you JDM VITZ is also better option but these days 4 Grade 07,08 model 1.3 ltr VITZ
    costing more than 13 lacs

    Choice is up to you

    Thanks

That's what the choice is going through my mind. I dont drive much. My work place is hardly 3 kms from my house plus my car remains standing all day from 9am to 6pm. It comes out from the house and goes into the house. Hardly going out of city. I thought buying a brand new car wont give me any issues as im a pretty carefull driver.
I have one question. How are the seat quality? the driver seat can be adjusted? higher or lower i mean

I have a restrained budget, since i want a small car right now which is powerfull. I dont want to spend around 15 for a city for the drive that i have. It will be useless.

Go for Swift. Excellent car and build quality. I am using it for more than two years. Don't listen to people who have no experience of having the car . It is fun to drive and value for money. Mileage is good.

    Smile Swift!

    @oblivion
I don't own a Swift and neither have I driven one, just seen them on the roads. But lately I am thinking that maybe I may buy one too. Japanese used cars seem attractive but again new is new. Saves you from a lot of headaches in the years ahead. Parts, maintenance and resale are some issues which are not very favourable for Japanese used cars. The Swift is brand new, you are the first owner, no major maintenance issues in the first 5-10 years if you drive carefully. Japanese used cars are cool and have everything but who knows what problem may come up?

    Again decision is yours!
    :-)

Dear just go for it. Even with close eyes.......... I had a Civic, it’s always hard to even sit it any other car after you taste Civic. But dear i don’t have any regrets buying it (DLX).
I have gone through almost every car in the market before buying DLX. The only car you could compare with it, pleasure and joy wise, is reborn. All others; even are not close to it.
vitz, xli, gli, passo etc......... No comparison. Its far ahead.
All you need from a car is it response. You accelerate it, turn it, break it........ It will response as per your capacity of asking it.

In short, you will enjoy it. And now a day, all other are cars…. But Swift is class and fashion
