My honda CIVIC VTI promsatic eagle shape suggestion for timing belt change ..
assalam o alaikum my honda civic VTI oriel prosmatic eagle shape has run around 78000KM and one of my friend has suggested me to change its timing belt? do you think that we should change it after each 80000KM? or should I keep the engine genuine? as till now thanks to ALLAH its engine is 100% genuine and working good ..
Need suggestions regarding it from some experts .. that should I get it changed or not and if I should then what will be its possible cost?
But "chaudhary9" bro I would highly suggest you to change your timing belt and barrings if your civic is driven more than 80k and I have mentioned the parts pricing above too, that was the price which they charged me honda classic in I-10 ..
yup bro you are rite honda is damn expensive with the parts and labor but at least you have a guarantee that you have taken it to the experts and the part will be genuine and brand new, I highly doubt abt the credibility of the parts available in the open markit .. but yeah price difference is just way too much .. between are you getting your car tuned up from F-10 market?
hmm thats good a good think to check their prices and difference in pricing is to get the quote on these hardware which I jst got installed in my car, and then we can compare the price difference of parts between honda and them, honda charged me 2500rs labor for time belt and barrings and 1000rs labor for the fuel filter change ..
i'll get the price of these items n labour tomorrow
i remember once i called honda 2s dealer to get the price of geniune bosch of civic,i told them the model as well n guess what that guy told me
he said bring the car n we'll check the part n let u know the price,i said em asking the price for this specific model, what is there to check but he said the same thing to me n i hung up on that a**
