I do not know about resale but regarding engine is that It consists of various parts some of which are head, cam shaft, valves, valve guide, ring, pistons, crank shaft. The engine works with 4 strokes where the air fuel mixture is burnt with electrical spark then these burnt gases push the piston through its stroke turning the crank shaft producing torque to move. The rings seal the escape of these gases through the walls of cylinder. The combined efforts of pistons is tapped at the fly wheel which is connected to the transmission as you have not asked about the transmission of Toyota IQ so I have to close my post here.

If resales not an issue, Its a nice car, Better then thoose 660cc dinkies and specialy nicer then the Smart for 2 car.

On Pakwheels they are displayed for 10.5-13 lacks. Id love to buy one seriusly, Bhaar mei gae resale, Its a nice car to travel around the city, But yes the parts can be a big concern.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Honda should be installing kick starts to civics, The toieta IQ would be really interesting to watch while being repaired by ustaad.
