    Default Toyota Cantt Motors - Non Professional Attitude

    i have coure 2005 model. i went to toyota cantt motors for its for tuning and engine oil change. my experience was horrible as well as horrific.

    1st they wasted half an hour looking for parts then they changed oil in such a haste as if there was a speed challenge going on. then they tuned the engine so quickly and carelessly that i couldn't believe myself. then he asked me to check the car..i asked him to check the timing of the engine as there was loud noise coming from the engine. his response filled me with more anger...he said that the person of my experience doesn't need to check it. then we went into a long argument and after good 15 minutes of argument, he very reluctantly brought timing gun. upon checking, the timing was 10 and acc. to the sticker on the car..it should have been 5. i asked him to adjust it...js pr uss ny kaha k purani gaari hy...uss pr itni hee timing rakhte hen. he kept on forcing me to drive the car and check it. i drove it a bit, the pick was increased but fan baar baar on hu rha tha. i tried to persuade him that it will consume more fuel but he was insisting that it wouldn't. Then I aksed him to check the CO level check krne ka kaha tu bola k uss ki zarorat nahee. kafi lambi behiss k baad he checked the seal level tu it was 3.6..but the range on bonnet is 1.5 to 2. He tried to adjust the mixture without any success. Then he callled his superviser/ senior. mechanic,thori der wo laga rha..nothing happened. phr uss ny naee kahani daali...k carborateur k butterfly ghiss gea hy tu isska kuch nahee hu skta. kafi der bahiss k baad they announced that their working hours are over and that i should try the car. it will drive smoothly...and if it causes problem tu i should take it back.

    i brought the car back home ...drove around 70km...js pr almost half of the fuel was consumed. whch meant fuel consumption was 5/6 km/litre. OOY silencer was also getting black..

    then i took the car to another mechanic..he adjusted the engine timing to 5 and also adjusted the mixture. He did not have a machine for CO level but the engine sound improved. .he also told me that distributor's point is not fitted properly and needs to be fitted again. ..i came back coz i did not have time for that.

    moral of the story: TOYOTA CANTT MOTORS SUCK...THEY DON'T REALLY WORK AND THEY HAVE ALL THE LAME EXCUSES IN THE WORLD. JUST CAUSE THEY HAVE A NAME...DOESN'T GIVE THEM A LICENSE TO BEHAVE THE WAY THEY BEHAVED WITH ME. I AM NOT GOING THERE NEXT TIME AND I JUST WANTED TO WARN YOU ALL ABOUT THEM TOO.

    These dealerships are totally ripping us off.
    I also have a bad experience with Toyota Islamabad motors with same car. Daihatsu cuore last year. Same case was happened with me. I was telling mechanic things to check. First some person came and said sir go and sit inside waiting room. Customers are not allowed in workshop. I was like WTF. Then mechanic said to me in harsh words.
    I flatly refused to sit in waiting room and Stood near the car to keep an eye on worker.
    Just don't take your car to these dealerships. Finding any reliable and trustworthy mechanic is a much better option.

    Toyota Walton is a better dealership comparatively.
