Hello Pakwheelers. I wanted to ask what tire size is fit for the Honda City 1999 (SX8).. Is 205/65/R14 size gonna fit? Or, it's not? Also suggest some better size if it does not fit. Thanks!
205 guna b big, look for 185/195
195/60R14 will be the most stable and suitable size for your car if your wheel size is 14. You won't get the speedo error with this size as well.
185/65 14 best size for pakistan roadlower the tyre profile higher while be the risk of frequent puncture
The sidewall of a 185/65 and a 195/60 tire will measure the same.
@poster: What is the wheel width, 6inch?
195 R15 60 or 205 R16 55
195/60R15 and 205/55R16 will be an overkill for this car.
Stock size for honda city is 175/65R15. So, every combination within +/-3% will be fine. Right now, I am using 185/65R15 for my honda city.
The 99 City was never offered with a wheel size of 15 inches, 13 is the stock size
Oh, Then your suggestion will be perfect for 99 city.
I already have 185/65/R13 installed... It is okay if 205/65 is big but will it touch the shocks or something, cause any damage?
It's going to stress your whole suspension setup and your car will ride real high.
Brother 195/55R15 if u are going to buy new tires dunlop lm703 or yokohama a drive.
such big wheels will destroy your vehicle's suspension and fuel economy will be ruined wheel size 13 is OEM for best results. 185/80/R13 you may swap for stability without compromising on economy
The stock size of the City is 165/80R13, so you can compare the overall size of this size with whatever you are opting for in 14 inches.
205 will touch the shocks for sure.
205 will only mess up if the aspect ratio is 65. I've used 205/55R15 and 205/50R15 on mine without any issue (keeping in mind my car is lowered almost 3.5 inches).
^ it also depends on Offset of Wheels. as per me on stock rims/ certain type of common offset rims it will even rub on 55 or even 40 profile
True that, my wheels have an offset of +35 btw.
rouhan do u still have that d15...???
