Default Which one Should I Buy?

I am looking to get a civic & it has been few weeks now that I can't decide whether to for the 9th generation or reborn. The 9th gen exterior simply doesn't impress me but then it has a better interior & some added features.

What fears me the most is that if Atlas honda decides to uplift the current shape, everyone who already bought the 9th gen will regret.

Your kind suggestions can help me decide, Reborn or 9th gen.
    thanks

I am facing the same dilemma. I had a 2011 reborn (top of the line) that i bought brand new and i kept it for 2 years. It was not even 10k on the odo and i planned to keep it for another year or two because the new 9th gen really disappointed me. Unfortunately, I just sold my car and now i don't know if i should go for the 9th gen or not because it doesn't look as good as my previous one and buying it would look like a step backwards. Now one thing i know is the facelift that we recently saw in the news is never gonna make its way to pakistan for at least 2-3 years (that's what i've been told by a guy in honda). They already invested in the new civic and their sales are pretty good (delivery time being 3-4 months minimum) so i don't think they will bother considering facelift when their current shape is selling like a hot cake. The only plus point of 9th gen is that its a new model, new features and better performance/fuel economy and will be having better resale too.

these are the dilemmas i would like to have one day

If you have the patience to wait then you should certainly wait till Feb 2013 atleast , otherwise it depends as the civic 9th gen costs 3-4 lac more than the equivalent reborn. The other thing is what makes you feel better/comfortable. I had a choice between City Vario 04 and Civic 00 recently i choose the Civic 00 because it just felt right

Go for the civic. I have it and i guess it would stay for a long time, it will not have a facelift in pakistan and it would change in 2016.

I hate Honda guys for putting us to this dilemma, the new civic's shape looks like going a step back... After thinking alot Ive decided to go for the reborn because that's what I'd like to have, I'm not caring about resale or other pros of the 9th gen..

do what you feel is right bros.

if i was a honda buyer, i would go for the new one. it looks good to me. interior looks good too. new is new.
am tired of seeing reborn on da roads since so many years now. it feels crappy to drive when you have 4-5 people sitting in it. it has poor mileage.

and yes, i am a honda lover
