I think we should all wait before taking out gas cylinder as the petrol is not feasible nowdays as far as the fuel expenses are concerned.

Changed filters and removed CNG wiring and venturi helped. Plus Driving in Economy mode Not pushing the car just driving it under 3k RPM.

Yes Air filter / Timing adjusted / Removed Venturi. ECU is not reset and CNG Cyl is still in the car.. Some engines are good for economy and this one is not bad. I was thinking if this didnt give me good economy i will go for some 1.3 Engine like 4EFE but this one is goin good so far.

I did tappet setting from a renowned mechanic at Hazro. I came to know people from ISb would come to him for tappet setting. He removed the air-blockage thing and pick of my car has increased. But i also observed that temp of my car also rose a bit. previously when i removed the air blockage myself, the pick of car would get sluggish

    Hello everyone
Well i'm relatively new here. I own a Charade 83. The car was giving me good mileage until this all CNG fiasco and since then i have it converted to Petrol.
Now the problem is, the car is giving me extremely poor mileage and that would be about 5 to 6km/liter. That's fairly a disastrous performance considering it's a 1000cc car.
Anyways, i have the Carburetor changed. New battery (old one was dying anyway), new Spark plugs, new distributor cap, and some other tidbits but the problem persists. It should be noted that the CNG kit has been completely disconnected (the kit and cylinder still remain in the car though), so the problem seems to be else where.
Any suggestions? Looking for a really good mechanic here in Rawalpindi/Islamabad who can rectify the issue.
    Thanks
