Default Price Check: 1974 Toyota Corona Mark-II

What should be the price of a 74 Mark-II with the following details:

Overall details: car is parked since some years, and has been exposed to weather all this time. the car needs new engine, new interior, new suspension and there maybe some other parts required as well unknown at this time. however, the documents are crystal clear, no tampering in papers as well as the chassis number.

Exterior: the body has significant rust on rear left fender, front fenders, hood, doors and roof, basically the whole shell contains rust but it is significant on the rear left fender, roof and front fenders and hood. there are some holes in the front fenders and the roof as well due to rust. however, the bumpers are in shape but have lost their shine, the head and tail lights are also intact, just need to be cleaned.

Interior: the dashboard is there, needs some refurbishing though. however, the following parts are required:
    1. new floor carpet
    2. new roof leather
    3. door panels refurbishing
    4. new seats
    5. new steering wheel
    6. new speedometer

Engine: a new engine is required but the car needs new exhaust piping and other related parts as well, possibly may need new fuel tank and its related parts too, like fuel pump etc.

Other details: the documents are original, the chassis number has not been tampered with. the car is Lahore registered in LES series. the car is a 4 door sedan model.

So, it is basically a project car which, once restored in a proper way, will be in its full glory.

My question is, what is the right price to pay for this car?

One can only give you an idea after examining the car, even photos will do. But, a very rough price estimate would be somewhere around 50,000 to 70,000 Rs. Not a penny more than that. I'm sure the owner must be demanding (read: expecting) more though.

As u said urself " Its a project car", so estimate the amount u need to spend to restore it in ur required condition and then u can have a good understanding of what u should be paying for its current condition.
