Default Suggest Sedan, price range upto 550,000

    Please suggest a sedan

its resale, parts availability & expense, and maintenance will matter.

I need more features, and more comfort.

    what about Nissan sunny 97-2000

    And

Honda CIty 2000-2002 (with budget increasing)

Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Go for city if you are that much concerned about the resale thing but then you may need to compromise with drive as Honda city is quite sensitive to bad or low octane number petrol.

We all know what type of petrol we are dealing with its not only the octane no but the quality itself.

With Honda you may get yourself prepare for expensive maintenance with a delay of 5-6 months

Nissan sunny is good with performance but its actually a sedan means luxury so it may not be very good with mileage and with that you can get a benefit of staying away from mech for like 6-8 months

Sunny would be a good choice but at-least above then 2005 aur wiasy bhi 5.5 lkah mein city to anay ni wali so just forget it as it don't deserve that much

Please keep in mind that you have a low budget specially for Islamabad. You will be buying an old car which would require frequent maintainance and alot of care. I have no experience of owning Nissan Sunnys, they have low resale because of difficulty in availibility of parts.

The Second Gen city is a great car with abundance of parts. You can fit almost all civic parts in it. Since i have been maintaining this car for a few years now i can give an idea about its maintainance parts.

    1. OEM Radiator- Thailand made (plastic body) - 5,500/-
    2. replaced water pump & timing belt etc for 3,500/-
    2. Radiator Cap - Honda Original 800/-
    3. Radiator Fan motor (Kabli) 1,000/-
    4. Fuel pump (Kabli 1200/- , China 800/-)
    5. Control Arm bushings, Bearings replaced in 2010 for 3,000/-
    6. Replaced inner CV joints in 2010 for 7,000/-
    8. Replaced PS Pump - 3500 *(kabli)
    9. Repaired PS leakage from Steering Rack seal ( 2000)
    10. brake rotors (Kabli) 3500/-
    11. Instrument cluster cable - 600/-

My water pump failed because the previous owner had used water in the cooling system, after replaing it i replaced everything related including rubber and metal hoses and added FUCHS coolant. Never had a heatup issue after that. Using quality coolant is extremely imp no matter how old your honda is.

The above mainatainance totals to around 30k. Apart from these i added new tyres and replaced brake shoes once and pads twice.

I purchased this car at original ODO 135k and currently its over 175k so thats about 40k in 2 1/2 years. The good part is so far none of the parts have failed more than once.

The car is drives on both petrol & CNG and drive about 12 KM/Liter & gives about 130-140 in full cylinder of CNG.

Its a pretty comfortable car and it handles very well. brakes are good and engine is quite powerful for 1300cc. Over all its a fun car to drive.

Resale to sirf vendors kum honay ki waja se hay otherwise honda kay genuine parts bhi expensive hein.
Still i would say the same
    resale : city
    quality : sunny
nissan sunny is a japanese car but with american nature means spacious , solid and tough

Budget thora ziyada karna paray ga but you may try this

CarDealers.pk | Auto Dealers in Pakistan | Used Cars | Imported Cars don't have any relation with him

    Thanks for your valuable inputs.

A friend suggested Liana, and my mind also slightly towards Liana now, I have to increase my budget to 650K.

I am against Suzuki but he told that in sedan Suzuki is good, and having basic features because they want to compete with the market sedan leaders. I think i can take above 2005 model in Liana.
