    Hiya=)

NOTE* I am not an expert nor do I have very much knowledge. I just buy and drive*

Okay, the latest models are always the best, since every year, they try to make their vehicles perfect eg. Improve the faults from the previous ones, so a 2012 model is best in this case.

I have heard that older models(the ones with the headlight switches on the right side of the steering handle to be more sturdy and solid that the newer ones(please tell me if I am going wrong =P)

And for an used one, try to bring a well trusted mechanic with you, so he can inspect the engine if it has opened or it requires any further work to be done. And check the engine oil level, if it has less the previous owner hasn't been very careful with regular inspections.
check the suspensions, back and front since they can go weak after usage. ODO meter readings, if the head console has been opened/tampered with.

And inspect the registration book and try to contact the previous owner if possible asking him where it has been driven etc.

Good luck and I hope you find a nice MC and it brings you alot of luck =)

Owner of 2006 honda 125 which sucks lol

Please, experienced members correct me, as I am crap in motors <.<

Dear.... If i remake 89 Model.... is it better?...... while my friend advice me that go to Bilal Gunj Lahore with personal mechanic, talk to mechanic that replaced engine parts with orignal 90 model parts instead of new parts purchase from local markeet.

Is is better idea?....... i think its better because if i purchase parts from market to remake my honda it will be not worth as compared to orignal.

    Whats your opinion?

    Regards

It is better to remake your CG-125, about engine you may purchase chinese new engine of around about Rs.12K from McLeod Road market and feel the enjoyment of sealed pack new engine and forget for any repair for at least 5 years.

If 2012 is in ur budget then why not buy 2013 new? definately go for brand new....
Theres no logic in buying a used bike.. if u can afford new... why risk ur invesment in an old bike? You dont know how much beating it has gone through?

On a new bike u'd even get 2 years engine warranty which is actually excellent peace of mind...

    A used vehicle would have:
    Dim head light
    Kharki hui body
    crazy messed up indicators
    messed up wiring
    repeateldy troubling horn
    old tires..
    Old engine..
    more fuel consumption
    More vibrations

New CG125 has a little different sound but improved acceleration and very low vibrations... theres absolutely no point in buying an old oe when u can afford a new one.

U can also consider Honda pridor if u dont want to stretch ur budget

It will be complete Box packed Engine. No there will be difference and you have to get modify it. However, a Honda Mechanic can fit it with little alterations. But the end result will definately be good.
