JDM vs local craps, No comparision at all,the only edge City has better resale, but will you spend around 1.5M just for a fake satisfaction, otherwise you will be having the most of comforts, maximum gurenteed safties(when needed) so decide your self but think twice.

But also think twice of buying abused Japanese cars with fake mileage...!! City all the way, if you want power then City 1.5 or Honda Civic 1.8

It was a big Q for me back in last Aug-Sept. I started with Axio and saw lotsa cars in the market. I also spoke with Toyota Indus abt the support for Axio as well as met an importer in Lahore too. After all the investigation, i felt its far safer to buy a brand new city instead of a 5 yr old rolla axio for which even Toyota Indus doesn't provide as much support as one expects, so I bought Honda City.
City is nowhere near the comfort and/or features that come as standard in axio, yet the joy of knowing that you own a brand new car is simply an incentive I couldn't ignore.

The input from the importer was the most strong in shaping my decision for the city. He showed me many cars on the auctions wesites of Japan and said which one you want to bid and import. I obviously wanted the best ones with higher grade etc. He said the cars of my choice ain't less than 1.8 million while the market is flooded with 1.5 million axios. So incase u wana sell ur axio after 6 months or a year, no one in the market will pay u more than 1.5 mil. Hope you can guess the quality of those axios being sold by dealers etc.

Go for AXIO if you can find a good clean piece with genuine mileage, Comfort wise Axio is good , mileage is 14-15KM/L with AC if driven around 60-70 mark, It's not a underpowered car like city 1.3 , but since axio is a used car you need to spend some money on it to get it in a good shape , like tyres, break pads, engine oil etc. AXIO also comes with 2airbags where as there is no such option in city , the only thing i can see in city is the charm of having 0 meter car. The only reason people are reluctant to buy JDM Cars is because of our shitty, fake, liars, cheater dealers.they make fake auction sheets , 4wd ki car ko 2wd keh rahye hotay hai , so it's better to self import or ask some reliable dealer.
When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.

Axio IFF you can verify the authenticity of the car as almost all the JDM cars have their meter reversed and auction sheets faked. Talk to @Sharabhi he'll help you out in purchasing a decent authentic Axio.

Baki I currently own an Axio and can vouch that it gives 13-14km/l within city with AC and is extremely comfortable.

p.s City isn't a bad car as well, will give more input when I buy one (which I will in a few months time) :p.

Lol not 1-2lacs... Just get all its oils changed (refer to the Axio Fan Club Thread) and do consult @Sharabhi http://www.facebook.com/groups/375771389142771/ when buying Axio.

Like always, I'd suggest a brand new car over an used one. Go for Honda City.

Honda city. It will give you real satisfaction, Honda Honda hai, axio is less reliable in terms of mileage, secondly its Toyota manufactured so no comparison between Honda city and Rolla axio.

my two cents.... recently had the experiance of driving my 2010 city from khi to ryk (some 700 kms one way). the road condition was extremely poor around khairpur and daharki and the city proved itself to be shitty as far as the suspension is concerned. it is pretty good otherwise, like i managed to get an avearge of 17.5 kmpl from it during this trip (both up and down consistent) with non stop AC.

Woah there hold on big guy your actually calling a locally manufactured City's build quality better than a Japanese made Corolla ?
I agree that City will give the satisfaction of a new car but it doesn't come any way near to an imported cars build quality
Unlike Pakistan other Countries have standard of quality finishing etc which the manufacturer must comply
While your paying about 1.6 million Rs to get manual windows
At least Atlas Honda isn't that low and they offer basic/mandatory options but still lack the finishing and quality which an imported car has
An example take a Honda City idsi and Honda Fit Aria you'll have a whole different experience in both cars

I respect your opinion. It's your choice, but I would go for Honda city. I agree that the imported cars passed through a quality check, so is It mean Honda doesnt do this?. Honda has a worldwide name for its luxuriousness, reliability and satisfaction. Honda city has a good shape compared to axio. It's aerodynamic shape gives a boost which axio dont have. The quality control system is a standard system in all over the world determined by Honda Japan. So you cannot doubt over its quality control system here in Pakistan. Axio tab tak achi hai jab tak yeh chal rhi hai, aur kab tak chalti hai kisi ko nhi pata. Rest is your.choice.
