Default Seeking Expert Advice to Decide which used car should I buy?

    Dear Friends,
I am using Margalla 1998 for the last 10 years and now intend buying some auto transmission car upto range of Rs 900,000/-. I want to buy the vehicle to retain it for longer period and my preference is fuel economy with luxury. So far the net search revealed that I can buy Mitsubishi Lancer GLX, Corolla SE Saloon and Honda Civic VTI and Honda City idsi vario (all having auto transmission). I am not well aware about these vehicles since I have experience of only Suzuki Maragalla. Can anyone give me expert opinion and useful knowledge that which car would be the best in this price range. Once I get a fair idea about the best choice then I would be able to search for the particular car through ads and net. I would really be grateful for your help. Kindly guide me to decide for the best option. Thanks

I will reply your querry as per my preference rest upto you,
1,Lancer Auto:The budget you are having enables you to even opt for 1.6 with sunroof, now it all depends that how much prestine condition car you can find,Lancer is really good at performance, comforts, luxury.Only negative aspect(although I don't give it importance) is poor resale reason being expensive body parts, routine maintainance is likely same.On the top its not locally assembled.
2,Civic 7th generation should be considered at 2nd place good at performance, economical parts good resale.
3,Corolla Auto is only available in SE Saloon not good at performance(prior regrets to owners) not at all comfortable only in comparision with above ones but very easy and economical availability of spares, sells like hot cake if all three are standing.
Decide yourself and best of luck.

Please support this suggestion with reasoning. I have to decide on solid grounds since It would be very difficult to exchange afterwards. Salam
