    Default Suggestion City or Civic.

    AOA Brothers,

This might sound silly but I had to ask. I was going for Honda City A/T When ASPIRE 1.5 got launched and it confused me because it's touching Honda Civic's price.

    Now here's the deal.
Honda City ASPIRE A/T is Almost 19 Lakh ( Including Registration + Insurance ).
Honda CIVIC Prosmatic is 22 Lakh ( Including Registration + Insurance ).

I have not driven any of these cars.
I want to know if going for Civic is worth the top 3 Lakh rupees, or I should go for City and save myself some money.
Would there be a lot of different in Mileage or Maintenance costs.
Would there be A HUGE difference in comfort and drive.

    Thanks in advance for help

If you are spending 19 lakhs on city then go for civic bro..Its that simple
In mileage you can say minor difference but in comfort I assure you very big difference.

If u can afford civic. Then i will suggest you to go civic. I dont think so that there will be a major difference in both mileage but in comfort, there will be some difference for sure.

Civic all the way without any 2nd thought. There's big difference in both cars.
Civic is way more ahead than city in comfort, power, luxury wise. It's better to spend more for civic than a city.
    Fuel consumption is almost same.

Civic and City are miles apart on all aspects of driving, power, features but so are 4 lacs.

    21 + 70 for Reg + 70 for insurance = 22.5lac and I have not included nav in Civic.
So basically Civic PT will top up around 23lacs. If you have the money than spending 4 lacs is worth it but let me tell you City is the value for money for its price !!! ... 4 lac is something for a comman man like me !!!

New civic is much better in fuel consumption than 8th gen. My 8th gen gives 500+ in full tank with Ac and with light foot(Manual).
I believe New Civic PT gives near 11-12 with AC in city driving.
City PT gives 12-13 in city driving with AC.

But I guess the drive of new CITY Prosmatec or ASPIRE Prosmatec is really pleasurable...After installing Dunlop SP Sport 300 Japan in my Silver CITY ASPIRE Prosmatec I just thought for a second that I have the best ASPIRE of ISB/RWP but thats purely a joke...LOL!!!
For swift and gutsy response use CIVIC!!!

It's almost a 3.5 Lakh difference in Civic PT & City Aspire 1.5 A/T - I agree that's a lot but I just want to know if CIVIC is worth spending that top 3.5 Lakhs. Here are more specific questions.

1- Does a City user feel MAJOR difference in comfort/performance/aesthetics when he drives a Civic? or is it almost the same or just minor difference.
2- Both cars are new so they come with warranty and maintenance won't be a huge problem for first 3 to 5 years. BUT Are Oils and Usual maintenance parts for Civic too expensive than City?

    1. Yes it is a major difference. The two cars are miles apart and city will loose to civic in any comparison matrix

    2. Initial maintenace during 2-3 years is nothing but periodic oil and filter changes which is same for both but you must get ur car insured any one which u buy
