I have a 2006 Liana RXI in black. Factory fitted CNG. Done about 65,000km. Mechanically the car is perfect, drives just like it is supposed to but looks wise the car is not in the best shape as it has a few dents/scrapes ranging from tiny to small. Nothing major though and paintwork (apart from the front bumper) is original. The dashboard has developed a crack which goes almost all the way across its length (don't know how it got there - does anyone know how much it would cost to replace?).
I want to sell this car and want to know how much I should demand for it / what would be a reasonable price to sell it for? If anyone needs pictures to comment I can post them here but am just looking for a ballpark figure.
It seems it should go around 600K, from the condition you are telling.
Those cracks are mostly related to direct and constant exposure to sun and trapped heat. LIANA dashboard cloth has this issue to crack. I have seen many LIANAs like that, even my own has got multiple cracks. And yes it looks pretty bad!
I have recently come to know that some dashboard repair experts at Plaza can mend these cracks, filling in and correcting the upper cloth/covering. Approx cost is around 10K depending upon the condition, and I have been told that they do it very finely and one cant find out that the upper covering of the dashboard is repaired.
I have no issue right now driving with those cracks thats why not opting now to experience them. But if I would be selling my car, then I might go to them to fix it up first as I think that will effect the resale value due to no-good look of the dashboard.
