Default City Aspire 1.5 or 1.3 Gli ?(lea300)

    AoA
After selling my Prius i had decided to go for Civic but planning to get one university ride first
i dont want to go for any used JDM ride i am preferring brand new ride
so two options which i have in front are
1.5 Aspire city or 1.3 Gli
keeping in mind i have to go to Lahore school of economics daily and the roads are not properly carpeted.
i will be keeping this ride max 1 year and it shall be driven around 30-40k max
So which car to opt for??
if city then which color from black, red,Grey
if Gli then all colors are available

i have to go for the car tomorrow InshAllah

    Thanks to All
    Muhammad Zain
I do it because i can, I can because I want to, I want to because you said I couldn't =)

Just keep the discussion to tires. My observations are based on personal experiences. We use cars with local tires all across Pakistan and have never failed us even in most difficult terrain and road conditions and our cars are hardly parked for few hours and then on road. The difference is only of road noise which is not so wide.

On my personal cars I have used Yokohama and currently Dunlop, but have not noticed much performance difference.

I do agree that important tires are better than local ones, but locals are not bad either, they have proven to be safe and road worthy. So people with disposable cash mostly replace tires of a new ride from Pakistani to imported.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Sir we all would love to buy local tires (and everything else) but there is no gud quality local tires available. I ve seen countless new Eurostars bursting and even causing high speed accidents on motorway.

Well itni bhee loot naheen machee hai ab Any weak tire, local or imported can burst on m-way. Even a new tire, local or imported can fail due to under/over inflation or by hitting cateyes at high speed. You must have also noticed that most tire bursts on m-way occur in cateye areas. Our cars with Eurostars go every other day to different parts of Pakistan and also use motorways without any incident.

bro no doubt they are good enough for city use but yes they are quiet hard and usually not build for the drivers who drive fast on highway

So they really served the purpose and survival up to 70K kms is impressive.

I'm also a victim of tyre burst at motorway. And the tyres were eurostars and 10k km ran. Feon that day. I dont rely on eurostars at all. One should invest in some good. God forbid they can be fatal.

Let's keep it to tires then. I'm also speaking of what I've experienced. I've used local tires in both my Coure and City and they are shitty. They lack comfort, durability and reliability all together.

I don't like to pay for expensive imported tires, I'm compelled to do so for comfort and reliability.

Well I have both city aspire 1.5 bought it a week ago in grey color and a corolla gli 2009. I dont know about other people but I find gli's ride way more comfortable than city. There could be this reason that city has its original euro star tyre and I installed pirelli in corolla but still the difference is too much comfort wise. And obviously it has a much better resale and a better fuel avg. I would recommend gli.

    Dear Lea300

Kindly let me know the name and address, name of shop, telephone number from where i can have exactly the same front grill with chrome, front under spoiler with halogen lights, side skirts for my honda city aspire 1.5 manual. I can get from Lahore but most easy for me is Islamabad.

As I am in Islamabad and have no idea of Lahore market so kindly guide me and provide me if you can what I have asked.

    Regards
