    Default cultus meter

    AA

I am told cultus meter can be reversed. how do we find out if a cultus meter has actually been reversed to show less milage? I have met 2 cars, 2009 claiming 18400kms and 2008 claiming 33000kms, the first one is too dubious... any idea how can catch this? thanks

As a rule of thumb, multiply the a age of the car with 15000. its the average mininum a car runs if in family use within city. Multiply with 20000 and you get the max average if that car has been taken on long route. Beyond that figure the car has most probably been used as rent a car.
