Default Honda City 2004 with a duplicate book - Please suggest

Is it worth buying a Honda City 2004 iDSI LHR Reg in 6.6 lac with the following pros and cons:
    + Good condition inside out

    - Duplicate book
    - No CNG

    - No Alloys
    - Mileage around 1.5 lac

As a matter of fact the first 2 cons matter the most for me. Also is it easy to get the CNG kit installed as it was banned I guess.

Please suggest, if its not worth buying then why ? And also whether the price is correct or still high ?
    Thanks in advance.

Duplicate book - that's a big no no for me unless I am a 101% sure.
CNG - I am not sure if you could get a new CNG in the market nowadays. However, you might be able to get one in black (from damaged cars, used CNG kits, etc)
Alloys - Not a biggie, it shouldn't really count as a consideration.
Mileage - 1.5 Lac, again - that's too high. If you don't know the buyer, then you can never be sure whether this mileage is correct or it has been tampered with. Judge by the condition of the car, have a look under the hood, observe the exhaust pipe and look for signs of a healthy engine, etc. I am no car wiz, but you just need to look around and get an estimate on the market price of the car you're considering.
    Best of luck!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

About the duplicate copy, what is the big deal about it if i am getting the price compensated.
Should be a resale issue if demanding a price of one with original documents. So all the loss goes to the one who lost the original book and not to the people buying selling afterwards. I may be wrong on this.

About the mileage, I have seen this i.e: 1 lac is quite normal in used cars. People asking 8-9 lacs for even 2 lac KM driven cars but with obviously a well kept condition. Question: Is it too bad for a 2004 car to have 1.5 lac mileage ?

Me too not a techie at car internals, but I will get some mechanic to check the engine sound and other health checks etc. to make sure the car has genuine mileage.

    Agree with other points.

Here is what they call a Passport book. I think when i transfer the vehicle to my name then I get a new book and have no issues of resale then. Many people still dont know about this and therefore would rate the vehicle with duplicate reg a DONT EVEN THINK TO BUY car.

You cannot get a passport book for:
    - cars registered prior to 2006
    - having duplicate registration certificates

Don't be misled by pseudo informed people.
