Exclamation New car or Used car on Installments...???

    Friendz,

I am in urgent need of a vehicle for office use. Problem is, i have very low budget(1.5) and i don't have good know how of how to purchase a car & have no one to assist me in this.

So i thought to get a used car through Suzuki dealers on installments.

Is it a good idea to go for? Is it secure & safe?....any suggestion??

I had a thought of purchasing a new car on installments but i am not feeling comfortable with terms & conditions. Moreover, no new car is available with CNG.

I suggest buying a new mehran on installments if you can bear it.. or just buy a decent charade or fx if you can find a guide within friends or family..

I guess on installments its getting more costly....i can go for used car in one attempt with the same amount i will pay as upfront/down payment...

Further, my friends has advised strictly to not go for charade as its a trouble car & maintenance is not easy.

I am more towards FX but doubt whether it would be comfortable for me to drive as i am 5.7" :/

5'7" is easily manageable in FX. My cousin 6'3", used it for a long time (though not very comfortable)

i would suggest to buy a mehran 90 -95. you can get it in budget of 1.5-2 and then when you have enough money get it checked totally and make it reliable. a friend bought a mehran 90 from karachi in 1.3 in ok condition. in punjab prices are bit high. as for checking drive car on bumpy road and on highway if it drives good on both, it is good to go for.
