    Default Tiptronic help needed

Salam to all . I want to ask members about a simple question . in tiptronic transmission the + or - does is give you an easy to use manual control. So if you are in D and you want to shift to a lower gear than what it's in, tap the lever to the left (the - side) and it will drop from 5th to 4th or whatever. Tap it to left again and it will go down another gear, tap it to the right to go back up. But do i have to press the clutch while doing all this? Do i have to press the clutch while shifting from normal D mode in an automatic to the manual tiptroni system ? Regards

Bro I am no expert but I don't think so that triptronic cars have clutch pedal! Maybe you are mixing pedal shifters with triptronic gears! You don't have to press any clutch I think because it doesn't exist

If there is no clutch then you can ask any car passing by to engage clutch while you shift up or down in your tiptronic

By pedal i mean the break we use to initiate the gears . I mean that while driving in normal auto mode we just have to pull the lever into triptronic mode or first slow the car press the brake and then put it in the triptronic mode @memad @hsn18

In triptronic transmission there is no clutch, you just change gears by the paddle shifts on the steering or as you said by the gear lever. Dont know how it happens, only experts can answer that.

These type of transmission are known as a semi-automatic transmission.
