    Default Need Suggestions regarding FYP

    Salam
    As by grace of mighty ALLAH I am in final year of Electrical Engineering
    and I have to make a Final year project
    As my seniors make Electrical power FX laying in my Uni but it can,t be use a daily runner
    so I want to pic this project make it as a daily runner Electrical power car
    the current motor can be operated up to 48V. Its power rating is 16kW and rated speed is 6500 RPM.
    so I need help regarding this project
    SHOULD I PIC THIS PROJECT ???
    I also want to install a small engine in it for charging and power backup
    please post your ideas that what can further do with it

    install an alternator connect it to axle via small gear combinations [ for idea something like cycle pedal & cycle rear axle] for 600 rpm to charge the battery. There is plenty of room for improvement in this Project vehicle.

    @Awais_jan

    Dude i know about that guy who made tht FX Motor Drive (CKT) for Hitech Uni students & they paid him xyz amount.

    Y dont u try some thing like this as FYP ??

    @poster
    It looks that u want to make a project related to automobiles. If u want to make one other than automobile related, then I give u two ideas. Make a Solid state wind speed and direction measuring system (NO moving parts). btw Im elec engineer and live near hitec so can guide u about this. The other idea is of an MPPT solar charge controller which is HOT in market nowadays. If not interested then no prb. You must be efficient in programming (C, assembly, VB etc.). I make my own projects but my prb is that I use only analog techniques (old elec). I have less knowledge of programming.
