Hahaha youre actually comparing americas market to here? Seriously? All you get in america are gas guzzling V8 fords and chryslers, they drink as much as the rx8. Cars are selected for freeway driving, boot space and capacity, ANY import is looked down upon there. Its so unbelievable how people just jump to conclusions by comparing to everything "western", no wonder they look down upon us too, because us a nation have never known better but to grovel at their feet. Every region/people have their own set of standards and benchmarks to follow.
Anyway, to OP. in pakistans market, in the price you can get one at, in the amount of CAR and DRIVING PLEASURE you get out of a clean well maintained rotary rx8, it is a very good buy. Yes its mileage averages around 4-6 kmpl, but then again, no one bats an eye to the reborns 7 kmpl mileage, that too being used as an everyday car. Its obviously not a car that can be daily driven to jobs and colleges due to certain impracticalities, but that is obvious for any weekend car.
Sad part is, i dont even own an rx8, but will buy one soon, its a ***** in terms of resale for the first owner but we get them imported/used here anyway, and well maintained ones dont lose much value either, experienced rx8 owners will know.
Sorry about the rant, really i am, good luck and i pray for our nations independence from everything "amreekan".
