    Default Baleno Advice Required.

    Hello Fellows,

I have searched the old threads on forum but didn't get required answers, so I'm posting again. As title suggest, I'm very near to make a deal for 2005 Baleno (1.3L JXR), Multan Registered (my same living city). It is army family driven car and seems in very good nick. Car is transferred to 2nd owner who is currently himself driving the car.

    Following are my questions:-

    1. What should be the fair price for clean 2005 baleno? (answers to this question is must )
    2. I'm planning to drive it mostly on Petrol. You can say 70% on petrol and 30% on CNG (If available ), so how's its performance and stability on Petrol?
    3. Finally is it a good decision?

Regarding performance and stability, I would highly prefer replies to those members who ever owned a Baleno and have driven it personally.

    Jazak Allah!

Brother its a fail car that is why Baleno square lights 1998 is available here in Karachi for 4.5 lacs easily.

Baleno has many mechanical and electrical probelms and parts are also not available.

Take my advice and stay away from that car all suzuki big cars are flop because they want to try something new and experimental which eventually sucks.

If you want to buy a car with trunk in this budget go for a clean Indus Corolla 1992-2002 and you will be happy for life. Cant find corolla then 2nd option 1996-2001 carby 1.3L Honda city with D13B engine EX variant is best.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

Hi there!, my baleno JXR 2003 got very HOt during a highway journey, since then it took long self to start and few days later completely came to a stand still. i towed it to a mechanic and he said its head gasket is damaged which require to be changed. then he placed 2 head gaskets instead of one saying that the previous one was thicker.... later he also changed the plugs and plug cables and i changed the oil n air filter and oil change as well. but still the car did not came to life, then he called the electrician and he said initial pulse is not there, and some sensor needs to be changed, he changed it and after fiddling with its electrical system my car finally came to life but since then its pick was very disappointing and it require many ingition attempts and quite some time to warm up before i could actually drive it. ...the story does not end here...today again my car has refused to start and i dont know what to do....! can anyone help me in this regard please...thnx!
