Brother I will send you some numbers of importers at Jail road check them out.

Auction sheet and import documents are very important.

I have seen 10-12 imported Hyundai i10 in Karachi which is miles better than any JDM Kei car but it would pose parts problem for you so no recommendation. Only good for PICS.

Sir repair to totaled car bhi kee ja sakti hai if we want to but with all due respect I would never recommend any imported car whose engine is effected or damaged ,, and same goes for suspension ,, body touchup is acceptable as it doesn't really effect the long term agility/performance of the car ...

Brother its correct the mouse shape city from 2003 sells for around 600K the 2006 facelift and steermatic sells for 750K.

You also get a 2002-03 XLi, Se Saloon Auto and Prosmatec for around 750K.

Brother the proper thing is that first you have to choose the right dealer / importer before choosing the right car.

LOL.. you might be quoting 'khatam' or showered or accidented cars my friend...

A well maintained City 03-05 still sells for 750K +

    A good SE Saloon above 850K +

Civic Prosmatec 02 might be in the 700K - 800K range, the one with black/grey interior.

I know Karachi's car market is valued less than cities upcountry, but that doesnt mean these cars are available in the price bracket quoted...

Check the PW used car section and also check some showrooms at Tariq Road and North Karachi.

Your info is based on web data which is not correct.

You are suggesting that 2003 same model City is expensive than Civic which is not the case also the vario and steermatic have worst resale due to no CNG and CVT problems.

Se Saloon and Altis have worst resale than XLi/GLi and also takes much more time to sell specially after recent CNG shortages.

Again no offence if you have Honda.

No brother my info isnt based on web ideas, my se saloon recently got offered well above 900k, so yes it depends on the condition of the car. You are referring to north karachi? well, the area speaks for itself so wont say much. Tariq road... hmm the main automotive dealership area is Khalid bin Waleed road in Karachi... so you can have a fair idea as to what the prices of these cars are. Then again, dealer prices and well maintained 'gharelu' cars might have different asking prices.

City Vario and Steermatic have terrible resale.. AGREED. Honda civic PROSMATEC has bad resale as compared to its manual variant.. that is another fact.

The prices i quoted in my previous post includes manual 'chooha' shape city and auto civic '02. Manuals in hondas have better resale as oppsoed to their manual counterparts. In corollas, Xli and Gli maintain more value as compared to Se saloon / Altis.. but top of the line variants have more resale in 'Automatic versions' due to the fact tht toyota offers auto trans in only these corollas.

P.S. I have hondas and corolla both, so no offence taken bro.

Dear DrZac, I came across your post while searching for Suzuki WagonR Stingray 2012. Thanks God that I find one post of yours. Actually one of my friend has purchased a car for me from Japan that is Suzuki WagonR Stingray 2012 with Turbocharger. The car is on way from Japan to Pakistan. I am really upset because many people say that its a fuel guzzler. Are you still in possession of the stingray turbo and how is your experience with it.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Thats really encouraging to hear that have kept turbo version for such a long time. My car will arrive within a month inshaAllah. The first thing I have planned upon its arrival is to change all its fluids. Please recommend me the brand and grading. Thanks

@kamranzafar781 ...You're most welcome. Yes I have kept now two turbo 660 s back to back. It's way more fun than normal. Mileage slightly less than non turbo but then something at the cost of something. use 10w-40 Mobil super 2000.
