Lightbulb Experts: Buying Suzuki Cultus Euro 2

Experts: Buying Suzuki Cultus Euro 2

    Dear Pakwheelers,

I need your valuable inputs regarding the Suzuki Cultus Euro 2.
(I have recently sold Suzuki Swift Dx, Because of hard suspension, poor fuel mileage, noisy dashboard and bad ground clearance, Buying Suzuki Cultus only for few months till New Toyota Corolla Launches)

Concerns Regarding Suzuki Cultus Euro 2:

    1. Is the Suspension of Suzuki Cultus softer than Suzuki Swift?

    2. Fuel Mileage (Please quote true petrol mileage)?

    3. All Suzuki have noisy dashboard due to bad built quality what about cultus is it acceptable?

    4. Resale value compare to Suzuki Swift?

    5. What is the recommended Tyre size and brand for Suzuki Cultus?

Will be waiting for the inputs....

    Thank You,
    Imran Butt

I do not own a single vehicle but drive almost DAILY a carby Cultus 2002 and an EFI 2009 one. Plus, one sister has Swift 2012 and the other has Swift 2013. What more do you want to know?

Mileage ov the EFI Cultus is around 12-13 km/l. It is more spacious and comfortable than the Swift you had.

Bro I have two Swifts one red and one Blue , (you can see in my profile pic)
Blue Swift after a use of a year all bearings started to make noises, Suzuki Experts said that its manufacturing defect come in most of car that travel on motorway mostly.

I sold my blue swift really bad experience. Fuel mileage of my both swift are so bad that it havent cross 10km/l in 2 years, I regulary maintain my cars from Suzuki Islamabad Motors they say its the best it can do, Once in a blue moon it did 14km/l.

When it comes to resale my Blue swift remained at showrooms for 3 months add on pakwheels for 2 months, people come to buy but compare swift with cultus. My car has no accidents no touchups and the bearing noise i am talking is noticeable by anyone expect me.

No offence but a big NO to swift...

That's one bad experience you had for sure.

My younger sister bought her Swift in 2011 and used it a good 61000 km. NO issues whatsoever.

Elder one bought hers late in 2012 and hers has driven 15/17000 and is equally flawless till date.

    Both are manual DLXs.

The ONLY problem that came with the younger sis' Swift is that she sold that to buy an automatic one and THAT, everyone felt to be sluggish so she wanted to sell it but could never get a good price hence ended up retaining it. And yes, resale is very slow so bad indeed.

Cultus is a good car, but it lacks the looks of Swift, Engine power and features.

Resale wise, Cultus wins hands down and registration wise as well. Fuel economy is almost the same of both cars, i get 14.5/15kmpl in city without AC, light foot on Swift.

In the spare parts and stuff, Cultus again. Genuine oil filter for swift costs 950, and the other Suzukis including Swift and Liana can use the cheaper one, only 150 rupees but the 950 one is recommended for Swift and Liana. Expensive ehh?

Wish you the best of luck, buying a car is indeed a tough situation
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

I've been using 660cc cars for 3 years now and travelling between Lahore and Islamabad frequently, never ever faced any pro,, infact I bet their drive and handling and options and overall comfort is way above than Pak Suzuki cars ,, resale and parts not an issue as long as we are in major cities where market is well established now,, my 2 cents .. get a 660cc G grade good car fresh import ,, good luck

can it drive continuously on 120km/hr -130km/hr?

Today I went to 11th Way Showroom Sadar Rawalpindi, there they had Mira 2011 660cc (that was not mira es) with cvt transmission, the guy claim that it can do 20km/l if i drive it to 60km/hr.

So to check the car i take it to Islamabad highway till 80km/hr it was fine soon it goes to 120km/hr it look like that engine is making alot of noise, the car touches 130km/hr but the sound was unbearable like the engine will blowup.

The problem i am facing right now is to get a good car in 1.1 million is faced by most of us so pakwheeler what should one do?

Is this true that Indus Toyota is launching a hatchback? or its a rumor?
    OR
Paksuzuki is launching a new version of Alto?

Bro ,, I am in isloo for a few days ,, you are most welcome to take a test ride on my 660 JDM ,, I have kept 2 660's in the past 30 months,, previously I had Suzuki cervo SR triptronic turbo and recently I got Suzuki stingray 2011 turbo with paddle shift transmission also turbo ,,, I can give you complete mileage details as ive been using it on local as well as long ,, on motorway it does 14kmpl at an average speed of 115-125 kmph ,, on local its giving me easily 15-18 kmpl depending about the driving style and road conditions ... here s the link of my current 660cc.. I would also recommend this car as from my experience turbo variants are much better than normal ones .. if you want to ask anything else you can contact me whenever ... https://www.pakwheels.com/rides/2011...of-drzac-20515

    @pakwheelsimb
i have recently bought a suzuki cultus 2010 with lambda control cng after selling my carby cultus..
mileage is around 12-14 kmpl in city.
all cultus have noisy doors on bumpy roads.i reduce the noise by waxing them.but cant be stopped.
difference b/w euro 2 and non euro 2 is just of cat..
    room space is best
