Default working on something, need your suggestion please (IMPORT EXPERTS TOO)

    Hello everyone,

basically i am working on something. i wanted to import electric cars from china because i really would want to make mark in islamabad when it comes to driving a car, being eco friendly, aswell as the congestion problems now we are facing in islamabad.

these electric vehicles do well after 6 hours of charge and drive around 120km on 40km/h speed and 100km on 60km/h .

islamabad is literally hardly size of 15 km and it would be a nice idea to have this car as its a necessity now because of lack of public transport.

now the question i want to ask the

pakwheel experts Electrics/mechanism and IMPORTS experts.

i will be going to china myself and checking out these cars.

but how good are these by looking at the car specs and description on the links below?

how can these cars be imported and who could help me when it comes to customs. as these are 100% electric cars, will they be duty free and tax free import?

the actual cost of each unit is from 1800 dollars to 2500 dollars.

the main motivation is in a city where only hatchbacks could be parked now and possibly its too expensive to keep a petrol/cng car. this could be the answer to . these car would benefit our wives, sisters, mothers for their day to day travelling around withing islamabad aswell as our brothers for uni, fathers to work and grandparents to their medical check up in a very cheap and hassle free manner.

I like your idea but the car looks ugly also in case this thing breaks down our electricians wont be able to revive them. For some reason Chinese products never seem to catch my attention based on the fact that the quality is mostly compromised to reduce cost.

Best input would be from the GURU's

i wonder in how many days would they fall apart.

Jokes apart, These are being made in huge quantities and their are several vendors making such kind of cars, The car goes upto a 100 km on a single charge (over night is my guess).

But the quality, Spare, Durability is a big question mark.

And yes, How to bring it into Pakistan legally and officially is also another question, Their are proper car like things too avalible that cost around $5000 and work on the similar manner, i.e fully electric
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

This model looks terrible .. 100kph I won't let an inexperienced driver take it to 40kph. The worst part is in the summer it will like a sauna. It's half bus half micro car. Bro look for something that suits all ages.

When it comes to build quality it's doomed

My advise import a couple of models drive use them in every day life.

Great idea I hope it all works out for u..

No offence but this looks like a hybrid Riksha
But seriously you wont get any response for this car
it took time for people to adopt and understand Prius,Insight and other hybrids so this car has no chance at all and its not practical

if you can manage to retail this electric 'CAR' for price of a CNG rickshaw it will be HIT. Very soon CNG will cease to exist for transport sector and such transportation wheels will do roaring business. ensure when you launch the vehicle at least 50 people are already trained at your facility to provide basic fault diagnostics for such HYBRID.

consider this Hybrid CAR as replacement to 3 wheelers not some stuff to compete with Suzuki Mehran

I think its a good idea, much more safe than a motorbike and I think university students (both boys and girls) would love it and buy it easily if it costs less than 2Lac
