Default A question regarding "Suzuki GS150"

    Aslam-o-Alaikum members!

I had bought new GS150 almost 4 months back. After reading many threads about GS150,i've bought liqui moly racing 20w-50 and changed the first oil at 300km.Also cleaned the air filter, spark plug and oil filter.

Now the main difference i am feeling is,the engine sound is louder than before.Acceleration got less and its giving heavy feeling like i am begging my bike to accelerate.I dont know why is this happening.I called the suzuki guy and told the situation and he said "Bhai yeh kya zulm ker diya ap nay new bike mein itna heavy oil daal diya aur waisay bhi recommended suzuki ka he genuine oil hai".The oil was 100% genuine cuz i'ad bought from authorized dealer located in I-8 Islamabad.

Now i'm really confused and got conscious about my bike's engine.

It's probably because of the cold weather. Supposed to use 10-40 in winter 20-50 is too thick!

Default A question regarding "Suzuki GS150"

Why did u use 30-50 oil in winter specially in new engine ?? In this way outcome must be same as u experienced.
Any how liqui moly is the best oil. Just use proper grading, i.e. 10-40.

Even if you used oil worth 5000 liter and it was 20-50 I can bet the result would still be the same.
Use oil grades which are mentioned in the Owner's manual, something people never read!
