Cool Civic 2014 CVT Upgrade Launch possibly with facelift?

    hi

so i was getting ready to buy civic while a friend of mine said "hey they are going to launch the revision with CVT and possible facelift in 2014" so i did some googling and found this

The 2013 Civic has received a host of changes that seek to address criticism aimed at the 2012 model. The Coupe remains unchanged, save for new wheels, but the sedan features a black honeycomb mesh grille, new clear-lens corner lights and a taller, more sculpted hood up front and a new trunk lid, taillights and restyled bumper at the rear.

then further more its also mentioned that they change the transmission into CVT

Currently on sale, the updated models can be equipped with a new continuously variable transmission which promises to deliver "quicker and smoother acceleration." The CVT also enables the models to have an EPA fuel economy rating of 30 mpg city / 39 mpg highway / 33 mpg combined - an improvement of 2 mpg city and 1 mpg combined.

Brother the shape change for City is planned in 1st week of January 2015 and that too would be with the same 1.3L engine and gearbox with just interior and exterior change (no sunroof and airbags planned) at a projected MSRP of Rs. 1,850,000 for base version.

Maybe after 3 years in 2018 they will add the 1.5L with airbags and sunroof.

I would suggest buying the new shape civic at least it will remain in the scene for next 7 years.
