Default Must read before buying new battery (UPS or Car)

To prolong battery life and get maximum performance must follow these points.

    1. Never Use battery without initial charging.

    2. Never charge the battery soon after putting the electrolyte in it.

    3. Leave the battery at least 25 to 30 minutes after adding electrolyte than connect
with charger which gives 10% ampere of battery capacity.

    4. Charge the battery till it reaches 15V and, replace the battery caps, look all cells are
    producing bubbles equally.

    5. Every battery have a manufacturing date printed on it........Purchase latest newly
    manufactured one.

    6. Make sure that before adding the electrolyte, battery was completely sealed and air tight.

    7. Now some companies offering already prepared electrolyte, prefer that one, rather
then prepared by the electrician or battery vender.

Any query regarding battery will be honestly entertained up to My knowledge Insha Allah

it means the battery isn't fully charged, but not that its dead, drive the car on motorway or long route it will turn back to green.

i have a car driven only 1500km a year and 80% of the time stays black, still fine after 1.5 years yet. so yours can still run for a long time

the volts still stay more than 13 v

Yes I saw that in the morning and got it charged, alternator belt was torn off and the battery couldn't be charged. Works all good now. Thanks!

    Dear Brother Ishtiaq,
    AoA

I followed your instructions today and used UPS with lights for 2 hrs without solar.
one battery was at 11.5 volts and second was at 11.8 volts. It means both have short cells?

Today i bought AGS ATLAS battery for my honda civic 2013 model from honda dealer.. Acid/ electrolyte was already in it. i came home and installed it in my car . At first it was not taking load but some how i managed to start my car. i switched on my car for about 15 min.. and for 2nd time ,battery is working fine. but now i saw manufacturing date on the battery which is 16-09-2014 ( six month old ). is that ok that i bought six month old manufacturing battery from honda dealer. As i rarely use my honda civic car and it remained un-use for 5 to 6 days..

Please help me... will it cause problem of getting discharge quickly ( as it is six month old manufacturing date battery) if i will not use my car for five to six days?

Dear, shelf life of battery is 1 Year provided that battery caps are sealed completely. A battery in shelf should be air tight so that no oxygen enter in the cells.

I think, battery was not freshly prepared. This battery might be go prepared from battery agency and Honda dealer put this battery in shelf for long time.
When any battery is prepared, it is dry charged, it can crank the engine easily.

You should go to honda dealer, tell him the situation. ask him to replace the battery with freshly prepared. Get it charged and then install in the car.

Have any experienced the Bridge Power Batteries?

Shopkeeper said the Bridge Power Battery better then AGS, VOLTA, EXIDE etc in performance and life.

What do you guy thinks about this brand which is now becoming popular in people?

Guys please suggest a UPS for my home. Load will be 2-3 fans, 3-6 energy savers and charging 2 laptops at night. Only 1 fan and 1 bulb during the day. May be an air cooler during hotter days. This is the max load.
Also, should I opt for one big battery or two smaller ones? Please mention brands also.
Was thinking about getting 800 watts homage one. Any comments/suggestions?

Bridge power is newly launched battery, offering handsome profit to seller. Cant say about life of battery unless experience.

Room cooler is not recommended to run on single battery ups system. Yes your all other load can easily be accommodated with 1KVA UPS.

Any recommended brands? For both ups and battery.
If I buy 2 normal sized batteries with 800 watts homage UPS, will it be okay to run air cooler?

    @Ishtiaq778

Can you put some light that which combination is good for connecting two batteries either in series or parallel in terms of peak performance, long back up, quick charging and life of batteries?
