Default Must read before buying new battery (UPS or Car)

To prolong battery life and get maximum performance must follow these points.

    1. Never Use battery without initial charging.

    2. Never charge the battery soon after putting the electrolyte in it.

    3. Leave the battery at least 25 to 30 minutes after adding electrolyte than connect
with charger which gives 10% ampere of battery capacity.

    4. Charge the battery till it reaches 15V and, replace the battery caps, look all cells are
    producing bubbles equally.

    5. Every battery have a manufacturing date printed on it........Purchase latest newly
    manufactured one.

    6. Make sure that before adding the electrolyte, battery was completely sealed and air tight.

    7. Now some companies offering already prepared electrolyte, prefer that one, rather
then prepared by the electrician or battery vender.

Any query regarding battery will be honestly entertained up to My knowledge Insha Allah

What about performance? Also there is advantage in connecting batteries in parallel, amperes get double. Is it better to increase voltage or amperes for long back up and peak performance?

If you have 12v charging system with 10 A charging capacity, by connecting 2 batteries in parallel, each battery will get 5 Amp.

While in 24V system with 10 amp charging capacity, in series connection, each battery will get 10 amperes.

So, 100+100 in parllel with 12v 10/H charging will charge in double time than 100+100 in series with 24v 10 amp charging .

    @Ishtiaq778

I said that batteries connecting in parallel, amperes of batteries double for example for connecting two 100amp batteries in parallel, output of batteries will be 200amp.

how much charging capacity in amperes is need to charge the two batteries each 100amp connecting in parallel and in series?

Dear, back up time is same.......in both parallel and series case, but series batteries charge quickly.

I've heard that APC charges comparatively slow and cannot cope up with long load shedding hours. what is your experience?
