Default Must read before buying new battery (UPS or Car)

To prolong battery life and get maximum performance must follow these points.

    1. Never Use battery without initial charging.

    2. Never charge the battery soon after putting the electrolyte in it.

    3. Leave the battery at least 25 to 30 minutes after adding electrolyte than connect
with charger which gives 10% ampere of battery capacity.

    4. Charge the battery till it reaches 15V and, replace the battery caps, look all cells are
    producing bubbles equally.

    5. Every battery have a manufacturing date printed on it........Purchase latest newly
    manufactured one.

    6. Make sure that before adding the electrolyte, battery was completely sealed and air tight.

    7. Now some companies offering already prepared electrolyte, prefer that one, rather
then prepared by the electrician or battery vender.

Any query regarding battery will be honestly entertained up to My knowledge Insha Allah

    @Ishtiaq778
    brother please answer my query.
i plan to buy a deutsche power 12v 1200W pure sine wave ups (24v is not available in pure sine wave). I intend to connect two Phoenix UGS 215 batteries (160 AH) for good backup time in parallel setup.

my load is 5 ceiling fans and 5 energy savers.

kindly tell me if two 160 AH batteries will be too much to handle for a 12v ups or should i go for a lower capacity like UGS 175 batteries (but that would reduce the backup time) and also how much time will the batteries (UGS 215) require to charge to fully charge ?

Any other recommendations would be dearly appreciated as i havent bought neither the ups nor the battery yet

    Thankyou

you can try APC UPS as well instead of deutsche .... APC is puresine wave with builtin transformer and stabilizer ... its 1500 va works with 2 batteries ... no humming sound from fans .. output is fixed 220 volts ... but if u willing to run all these 5 fans at one go on batteries then it ll keep mounting pressure on batteries ....

my problem is something different than usual ones.....why my Honda city 2012's stock battery has failed to die since it arrived in early September 2012 (Battery card has the date of Aug 2012), with little to almost no proper care??? was expecting it to die after 2-1/2 yrs like any other regular car battery in my 25+ plus years of experience in dealing cars but it kept going on and on till now with no noticeable degradation in its service.

    Infini solar inverter
    It has intelligent charger
    4*100 Amp Exide batteries
Won't last for even 6 months. What can be the issue?
Batteries seem to work normally but after some time they start to loose water. Ups charges them more (Overcharge) and they fail!!
And how are tubular batteries compared to normal lead acid.

I need to but 8*100 Amp or Tubular batteries.
