Arrow REVIEW AND IMPRESSIONS OF 'Toyota Corolla VVTI XLI 2006' by three6t (Review ID 1402)

Toyota Corolla is the Grand Canyon of Sales of sedan cars in Pakistan which sets the standard in a Toyota way w.r.t maintainability, and fuel efficiency. Corolla is the best seller worldwide and is true in Pakistan too. Toyota compromises on feature requirements of specific niche and focuses on the requirements of the masses. It hits the Norms of the normals right Spot On so don't expect brilliance here. Every thing out of box was discarded to keep the design right in-the-box.
Interior design Gives you everything that you need in a car, The cluster won't distract your focus, it expects you to stay focused on your primary job 'Driving'. The seats are there to hold you in a 3D space and not to indulge or feel as if you are sitting in your home sofa. What's the point in placing the Car's interior clock at your knee level, well It doesn't matter as long as you are 'Just Driving'. It gives you an elevated feel in the cockpit has a rounded interior feel nothing to pinch you. The materials are good enough, hard plastics undermines the interior a little.

    Exterior design
The Exterior is rounded off in every aspect nothing extraordinary here as well.

    Performance
Nice combination of Power and Economy, Acceleration is good and Fuel Economy is well above average.

Well thats all what i think of

    My opinion is :
Even a CG 125 has better brakes than this thing. Period!
    Skids like anything.

this gen of corolla is most compatible with CNG, they are one of the most liked gen here in KP. there are thousands of xli's daily going to torkham border from peshawar taking passengers, those who know pesh-torkham track is one of the most dangerous and rough road twisted in hills, 5 passengers with heavy laguage on hills and that too on cng, this proves its toughness and durability brakes are pathetic no doubt.

My 2000 City EXiS Auto went from Karachi to Sahiwal and then Nathia Gali with 5 peoples and luggage on CNG and latter at return to Karachi we found out that 1 coil and plug was short.

What is a big deal in it.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

And when you brake, it drifts like it has immense power and torque with all-wheel drive round a corner
Got one in the family and they love it even though I hate it. Nice review
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.
